The lack of an outdoor area.

The price reflects the facility. The hotel is not luxurious, but is spotlessly clean. It's staff are it's biggest asset. Next to the excellent food.

We have been before and decided to return it was a nice visit breakfast was lovely room was comfortable the bar had been redone since our last visit it was a nice update staff were friendly and good location

Very friendly staff, especially the lady that served us breakfast. Huge yummy breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. And the shower pressure was brilliant. Would highly recommend

Nothing - great little spot to stay, with friendly people, good food and clean, comfy rooms.

If you are looking for the Ritz, then this is not it - it is rooms above a pub in a small village with some amazingly friendly locals. However if you want somewhere that is welcoming, friendly, cosy and easy to get to and from, then this is a great place to stay. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed here whilst my daughter took part in a 3 day horse show in Cavan Equestrian - it took about 30 minutes to get to/from the equestrian centre to the pub/rooms. The breakfast was served in a restaurant / cafe downstairs just next to the pub, and was cooked by an incredibly friendly lady, who was more than happy to adjust breakfast times or orders to suit what we wanted. It was quick, hot and tasty. We stayed on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night so the pub was, understandably busy and the room we had was just over the pub entrance, so with the window open we could hear peoples conversations as they stood outside....nothing earth shattering! The noise was done relatively early into the evening and then it was a peaceful nights sleep. The food in the pub was good, with lots of options and came relatively quickly - local patrons of the pub were really friendly ! My husband and I, due to work and other commitments swapped over during the 3 night stay so we both experienced the place, and both agreed that next time we are up for another show we will stay here again !

Room was clean and big comfy bed,breakfast was full irish and staff lovely..Dinner was absolutely 💯 👌 and great menu..staff and locals were so friendly..we'll definitely be back again..lovely lakes around for walks aswel.

One night stay Was greeted by a lovely friendly young woman, who helped me up with our bags Just two flights of stairs. The accommodation is separate from the bar you could hear the music but it stopped about 10.30/11 wasn't bad. The accommodation is basic but good the beds were comfortable . We had food in the bar that night and it was lovely the bar was very busy good wee buzz about it. Breakfast the nxt morning was lovely and the girl that prepared it and served it was so nice . We enjoyed our stay.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. We wanted a late breakfast and were offered it in the bar after 11am. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bar can get quite busy at times as it is a popular place locally for food & drink.

Bedroom was clean & spacious with comfortable bed. Nice powerful shower. Staff were friendly & helpful. Location was perfect for nearby activities. Food in the bar was good with enjoyable atmosphere. Breakfast was good quality the next morning. Only negative was that the extractor fan wasn’t working & the window handles need attention but these things did not hinder our stay in any way. We would happily stay again.
