How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very expensive and charged a extra $200 for staying more than 3 nights. This is weird.

Room was small but good enough for couple of nights. Too noisy outside. Think twice if you want to sleep early
Front office staff were cordial and helpful. Location is very good. City centre is walkable from the hotel. Plenty of eating joints and pubs around. Room and toilet were clean.

It was so loud at night, (literally couldn’t sleep) if you want a good night sleep you won’t get one but if you are out most the night enjoying the local music and nightlife you’ll find it ideal.
Location was phenomenal! Didn’t have to drive or get a bus anywhere. Breakfast was lovely and room conditions were fab! So clean and spacious.

The room had no extra room for our large suitcases. It was incredibly difficult to unpack. Also if you are not a fan of a ton of noise until 4 in the morning then this hotel is not for you. Less busy on week nights but weekends are crazy. I personally loved the music. No air con and room got a little stuffy.
The location was fantastic, right in the Temple Bar action. We had a couple of things that we needed and the staff was at our door within seconds of our request.

The cleanliness wasn’t that great. My towel had a weird smell to it which put me off. It was also very warm in the room and because of the loud environment we couldn’t keep the windows open or else it was too loud.
It was a great location and a very spacious room!

(Although we expected the party atmosphere) we didn’t expect a live band basically right next to our room until 3 am. We really liked being there just didn’t get a lot of sleep😵💫 Like I mentioned- the room was lovely, however I thought I had booked room with a balcony - but we did not have a balcony. (I think those rooms were right next door.) We were only there one night on a busy weekend so I didn’t make a fuss.
Easy to find, easy check in, lovely informative & helpful staff, convenient luggage storage available, great location, nice facility, clean small rooms, and great breakfast ( hard to believe it is served in the same busy bar area of the building from the previous party night - I imagine they only have a couple hours to turn it over to being very lovely and clean.)

We stayed in room 201 on a Saturday night. We were ok with headphones but beware if you want to sleep before 3am
Great location. Clean and spacious enough for 4 people. Hotel has so many amenities.

Parking closer to the hotel would have been perfect however the location doesn't really allow for that.
Location was really fabulous and even though we were in the centre of things it was not at all noisy.

It can be noisy until about 3am as it’s directly in the pub district. No air con in the room so it can get hot at night

The room was small but perfectly clean and the bathroom was a good size with an amazing shower

Unfortunately, not all breakfast staff were. No double glazing so very noisy when staying on the front of the property especially throught out the early hours (vehicle noises and cleaning streets) A little more storage space for clothes was needed for a 4 person room
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great Location Food was standard but nice and filing. Apart from the road noise, you couldn't hear any music from the attached club

The breakfast could be improved.
The hotel is located right in the centre of Temple Bar with a restaurant, cocktail bar and Irish pub on site. Easily within walking distance to anywhere you may want to visit whilst in Dublin. Our spacious room overlooked the riverside through a large floor-to-ceiling window. The bathroom was spotless towels and toilet rolls were provided daily. Breakfast was ok but not consistent day to day. A good selection of hot drinks and juices, toaster and spreads to help yourself to.

It was too hot in the bedroom 103, and I couldn't turn the heating down, and it was impossible to open the window to get the fresh air.

Heating was on all weekend, (they couldn't turn them off). It was really hot so we had to have the windows open but the street is extremely loud in the morning with bin trucks and cleaning vans
