The internet connection didn’t work in our room.

Breda was very friendly and provided a wonderful breakfast. We had a great dinner at a nearby restaurant she recommended. The home is on a very busy road, but our room was very quiet. There is a very nice private sitting area in the back overlooking a lake.

Showerhead could use a descaling and a shower curtain in the bathroom would be a useful addition.

Communication and check-in were seamless despite our very last minute reservation. The room was spotless and sheets & towels were fresh, beds were super comfy. We were grateful for the use of a fridge and the use of a lively sitting room in which we could have out tea and evening snack after a long day of driving and visiting the area. Breda was very sweet and resourceful. She gave us amazing recommendations for our next day’s itinerary. Breakfast was really delicious and if we’d had more time in the morning we would have taken a dip in the lake which looked veryy inviting. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Great location . Friendly owner. Heated blanket made up for the slightly chilly room as the heating is controlled centrally . Clean and comfy bedding . Family room with 3 beds so compact but more than enough space for a short stay for us. The breakfast and home made scones were exceptional. The best I’ve had in a long time . Great value for money

Shower was so slow you couldn’t really shower Noisy clunking of wooden doors much of the evening and morning from the other guests.

Unfortunately the room wasn't very clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor, dust on the windowsill. The toilet was leaking water and didn't flush very well. The sink was also leaking water. The shower was a big dissappointment. Only half of the holes in the showerhead worked and the beam was quite weak. The windows didn't close properly so the room was a bit cold at night. But there was also a heater available in the room. There was dog poop in the garden so you have to be careful where you walk.

Breda was very lovely during our stay. She gave us tips for locations to visit. We told her beforehand that my husband and I are vegan. She bought soy milk and oat milk for us. Her oatmeal was great. She had maple syrup, weetabix, bread, fruits... Enough for us vegans to enjoy. Bed was soft and with fresh bedding. You could have new towels every day. Beautiful view in the garden!

I especially liked and appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of owner and family. An unexpected pleasure was the rear of the property, a lavish garden with lush Lee views in serene and natural surroundings.

The facilities could do with modernising, particularly the bathroom. We stayed in June, and the weather was cold. There was inadequate heating in the room, although we were provided with electric blankets, which at least made the beds warm.

Bathroom window hinge was damaged and i was worried when opening or closing it that it might break off so i just left ot closed most of the time.

It is a ibit solated on a main road with no footpath, so it is not possible to walk to a shop or pub.

Excellent breakfast options and the host was flexible with the breakfast time to suit my schedule, which I greatly appreciated. Lovely location beside a lake and the accommodation was good value and had everything I needed.
