Was worried about noise from busy road but the traffic died down at night and double glazed windows kept things quiet.

Spotlessly clean, lovely to have free tea, coffee and milk provided. Very quiet at night, we all slept well.

    NOTHING

Everything, the price, the quality of the room(it was better than a hotel room), the cleanliness, the quick response by Dee for any questions. And of course the free Continental Breakfast. Can't fault a thing 👍

The kitchen was extremely warm especially with the expelled air from the pizzeria. Lovely balcony tho.

Great centre for a stay! Brilliant atmosphere in the village.

located next to the entry to the Blue Pool and in the middle of Glengariff, this hostel is a real gem to stay at with everything in walking distance and a wonderful ambiente inside and outside the hostel. Thanks Dee for a really great experience to stay at your place.

Everything! One of the best hostels ever...Dee, the manager is exceptional. Clean, kitchen was incredibly well equipped & spacious. Also a very nice common room. Glengarrif is small, friendly & close to Garnish island and amazing hiking. It's a great base for exploring Bear peninsula and Bantry. Great music in the pubs.

It was warm for our stay, and it was difficult to get the temperature correct for both of us in the room ( our problem).

The hostel was very clean, good hob facility, and utensils with a rear lockup shed for bikes.

the lack of air conditioning - but that's only because we stayed on a hot day, and we don't get many of them in Ireland, so ordinarily that wouldn't be an issue.

The number of bathrooms/toilets was really good, the place was clean, and the kitchen was excellent.

Very modern hostel in a great location! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The self check in was no problem at all. I was even able to borrow a towel because I forgot mine. I'd highly recommend staying here if you want to explore west cork.

Not cheap but still good option . Be prepared for some street noise. People seem to try to obey the quiet time from 10pm but with a few pints in them, it's not guaranteed...but that's a hostel. No reception which should be noted if you are expecting more customer service

We stayed in family room. 2 kids had bunk beds and we had large double bed. Showers and toilets were right besie room and we're clean at all times. Lovely hot water. Communal area and kitchen was clean and although we ate out, there was bread, tea, coffee available and lovely outdoor eating space. Close to ferry to Garnish Island which is spectacular. Pizza from Gigis below is recommended and we also had breakfast there. Nice pubs a few steps away. On street free parking. Bring your own towels

I had a great experience staying at Glengarriff Hostel. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The location is ideal — peaceful, with easy access to nearby nature spots. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy stay in West Cork.

Could have a fan in the room, while the weather is warm.

Fantastic stay, right in the heart of the village, so walking distance to pharmacy, pub, restaurants just to add you can get amazing pizza which is next to the hostel. Eaten there a few times throughout my visits to Glengrraiff. Please note that this is a level up from other normal hostels.
