How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was nothing that we didn't like. I guess the only downside to this apartment is that you need a car because it is in the countryside.
The apartment is very clean, and the beds are comfortable, with plenty of space. Breakfast includes lovely homemade bread, jam, yogurt, fruit compote, and free-range eggs. Everything was great, and we enjoyed our stay!

Nothing, everything was perfect!
This was such a gem of a find! Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, separate from main residence on the property. Such hospitality! The hosts are absolutely lovely, informative about the local area and just made it feel like home. Fully equipped with everything you could need, including plenty of food provided from the organic farm at no extra expense, it was more than we needed for breakfast (the homemade jam was delicious!). Extra comforts like streaming services and gaming console if you feel like relaxing or have kids that need entertaining on a rainy day. Highly recommend for a country getaway or even a comfy overnight stopover on your way through, you won’t be disappointed!

It was such a lucky find! Really comfortable. Fridge stocked with farm goodies. Place full of home comforts and kindness. All the luxury of a four star hotel but with the quiet of the country. Wish we could have stayed longer - taken advantage of their great organic farm shop. Wonderful place.

Not enough hangers for our clothes

Such a unique, sweet space! Very quaint, but also well appointed. This is on a working farm, (woke up to the lovely sounds of mooing cows), so it is in a rural area, but very close to the city of Tullamore for dinner, drinks etc. Mags was sweet and helpful and her homemade apple juice was to die for! 😋 Thank you for your hospitality, Mags!

Beautiful location ... so peaceful. Mags gave us a brilliant welcome.. avd left us scones, coffee beans, fresh milk , eggs, bread avd much more... just lovely, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending totally - and we would very happily return xx

We were welcomed with fresh scones, homemade jam and a bottle of their organic apple juice! After settling in we were treated to a walk around the farm that included a chance to stand in one of the two ancient ring forts in the pastures and have a glimpse at the burial mound. Got to chat about the cattle and the sheep as well. Plenty of food choices for breakfast and even had a taste of Irish field mushroom cooked the “traditional” way…in the microwave. Comfy beds and relaxing places to sit in the living room. A great start to our visit to Ireland.

Very friendly host, very comfortable and spacious apartment. Lots of very thoughtful homely touches, including scones, jam and butter, as well as fresh soda bread when we arrived, and some very comfy blankets to snuggle up in front of TV with.

There is absolutely nothing not to like. Everything is provided.
It is a beautiful self contained apartment situated in a lovely rural area. It has everything that you could possibly need and everything that you didn't even realise you needed. It is spacious, full of personal touches and is actually a home away from home, only better than any home you could ever dream of. It's divine!
