How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really helpful, kind and attentive host, who explained everything, asked if we need anything else. Comfortable beds. Very clean and nice accommodation. Coffee and tea available. In walking range from the town center. Hop-on-hop-off bus stop just next door. Wifi working.

Although not important to us, the TV was extremely small and the channel reception was poor. If watching TV is your thing, don't stay here.
The location was good as it was close to the Killarney train station, the town itself and Killarney National Park (if you like hiking). The host/owner was friendly. It provides a basic clean/safe sleeping accommodation with no extra amenities which was fine with us as we were gone from 8 am to 9 pm most days.

The room is a bit outdated when it comes to the design but I personally did not mind, the bed was super comfortable! There was not a real desk with chair in the room, which if you want to eat something or work on the computer etc. is not very pratical. The one little table in the room was not big enough for that. That is the only small negative point though besides this absolute wonderful stay!
Very nice accomodation close to the city center and the national park. I was on my own and the room was very spacious. They do not serve breakfast but there is complimentary coffee and tea the whole day trough. There are two gas stations about 200 meters away so if need to be you can also grab Some food there. Also a renting bicycle shop and ATM Just about 5 minutes walk away. Location is top. Hosts were very friendly and always happy to help. Will come back next time I am in town.

Excellent location if you're attending an event at the INEC, it's only a 10 minute walk away. Clean & comfortable room, toiletries included, spacious shower. The host was lovely.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and nice designed, the owner was kind and helpful. You can also used shared dining room, where is kettle, it was very useful. The location was amazing, near to the Killarney National Park and also near to the Killarney town. I really recommend you this accommondation.

Spacious, comfortable room with en-suite. Very comfortable bed. The house is walking distance to the town (10-15 minutes) and right beside the national park. Lovely host, very welcoming and accommodating. Lots of parking at the back of the house.

Alice was lovely. The room was clean and spacious, bathroom was clean and shower had hot water with great water pressure. Short (15 minute) walk into town. I would recommend!

The shower was tiny and had no removable head, which made it impossible for me to shower without washing my hair at the same time. Girls first world problems I guess. Bed linens felt a bit clammy, I guess they were freshly washed and not completely dry when put on the bed.
Very nice host, cozy room, very private, great location for visiting the stunning killarney national park. We asked if we could drop by earlier on our arrival day to leave some luggage before we went hiking and it was no problem. Went into town for food on both nights of our stay and it was only a 10 min walk.
