Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location, clean and comfy. Hosts were really kind and helpful, giving great advice on visitor attractions we would otherwise not have heard about and, leaving fresh milk, eggs, butter. Kitchen well equipped.

The apartment is very well thought out, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Catherine and Colm were wonderful hosts, their local and heritage knowledge of nearby areas was particularly useful to me as were the phone calls they made enquiring of my behalf re family history. Everything in the kitchen was simple and easy to use and the bedside lights were the best we've ever encountered.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. A lovely quiet location but close to the towns of Killorglin, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. Catherine was very welcoming and was on hand if you needed any help or advice. Would certainly recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The comfortable apartment has everything you need for a self-contained stay and is located about a 15 min drive from Killarney. The hosts were so friendly. Thanks so much Catherine & Colm!

The best apartment during our stay in Ireland: located in the peaceful countryside and a perfect starting point to visit Iveragh Peninsula, Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park. We appreciated so much the warm welcome of Colm and Katherine and the lovely and cozy little apartment, surrounded by nature.

I couldn't say anything bad about the place. It was perfect for our holiday.
The property was very clean and comfortable. It is nice and private, yet not too far from all the attractions. The hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. A home away from home. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go there again.

it would be good to have a car when you stay here as the bus service is limited.
The place was exactly as advertised; clean, lovely furnishings, and very comfortable. We even had marmalade, milk, butter and eggs left for us. The horse in the pasture out back was an added bonus. The owner even gave us a ride to town the first morning which was very nice of her.

The apartment was warm, tastefully decorated and could accommodate our every need. Bread, milk, butter, jam, tea, orange juice, fresh eggs and every other minute detail was there to make us feel welcomed and our stay enjoyable. The apartment is in a lovely part of Beaufort too.

The bed wasn't very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. WIFI was slow.
The location was good, nice and quiet and close to all the sightseeing attractions if you have a car, Easy parking. Cooking/kitchen facilities were good, nice big loungeroom.
