Gill and Allen are the best hosts one can imagine. They really cared about our stay and explained in detail all the oppportunities in the area. The room is very spacious and offers a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was just wonderful with fresh fruits and very tasty pastry (just to name some examples). The place is also perfectly clean.

We were just sorry that we had to leave after 2 nights..

I truly don't think I've ever stayed in nicer accommodations, either in Ireland or anywhere else. Our Atlantic suite was luxurious and comfortable, with incredible views of the countryside and ocean. Gill gave us lots of tips for navigating Milton Malbay. And she brought us breakfast in a little basket every morning! It was really a wonderful stay. We'd love to go again when we come back to Clare.

We stayed in the ocean room, view was beautiful, loads of light and space (even had a twin for a kid if it was a family). Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The hosts were lovely and provided local recommendations. Super close to White strand beach and coastal walks.

Journey's End B&B was a wonderful place for us (couple and grown daughter) to say for 3 nights. The home was beautiful - rooms spacious and well fitted. Beds very comfortable. Gorgeous view of countryside, coastlline and south end of Cliffs of Mohr in the distance. Continental breakfast was outstanding. Hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful in planning our activities. Excellent value.

The room was amazing, the location is perfect with spectacular views. The breakfast was delicious, the comfort and asthetic of the room and finishes was top notch with impeccable cleanliness. Overall a brilliant stay and would highly recommend.

It was the last stop of my trip, I spent two nights at Gill and Alan's home. It was like I was visiting. :) Gill made a delicious breakfast and provided lots of advices. Both the room and the bathroom are huge, the view of the ocean is fantastic. Gill's refined taste is evident throughout the house. The most comfortable bed I've slept in during my travels! I will definitely return to them. :)

The room was clean and set up for my arrival. I arrived outside of check in hours unfortunately and still had a very warm welcome from Jill, one of the owners. I had an amazing view of the ocean from my room and had an easy drive to anywhere I wanted to explore. Also, Jill was very thoughtful and provided a wonderful breakfast. She also accommodated the fact that I'm vegetarian and switched up the breakfast for me. Very appreciated! Would definitely return in the future. :)

Everything was wonderful!

Home from home. It was like staying with a friend/relative. The 'room' was more like an apartment upstairs in this lovely house. The views were amazing. Gill was so friendly and accommodating. The walk into the centre of Miltown Malbay was down a bit of a country road but Gill offered to take us in her car and she booked a restaurant for us for dinner and gave us the number of THE most friendliest taxi driver Luke who took a handful of us from a night out in the centre back to our accommodation for only €7 each. It had a great community feel to it.. Gill had plenty of ideas and advice on where to go. She absolutely went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for us.We stayed here as part of a road trip. Visiting some amazing places in this area with the most beautiful scenery. Spanish point is very close by. Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands. Kilkee and the coast road to Loophead Lighthouse was so good too. I think some of the scenery was far better than the Cliffs of Moher!

Gill has been the greatest!!! Very welcoming and very helpful, she gave us the best tips to make the best of our stay in the area. She took the time to sit with us and show us where to go on the map, and she also booked the restaurant on our first night. She made us the best breakfast ever with a superb french toast! The room is spacious, beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. One can tell Gill and Alan put a lot of care and passion in their hospitality. We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back again! 🙂

Lovely place to stay, not that far from town. Amazing breakfast choices and host very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, plenty of room in bedrooms.

Beautiful rooms in a lovely setting. Spectacular views of the ocean from multiple windows in our room. Stunning sunsets. Gill was very welcoming and knowledgable - gave us lots of tips about where to visit. Lovely breakfast. Lots of space.

The location was great, the spacious room had fantastic views and breakfast was delicious with a great selection to choose from including fresh fruit and homemade pastries and bread. Very spacious and clean room, delicious breakfast, especially the homemade scones and the French omelette :). The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding places to visit in the area. We would recommend the place and would definitely stay here again should we visit this nice part of Ireland again.

Great room, beautiful view, wonderful breakfast, extremely hospitable host!

Journey’s End is a lovely place to stay. Gill is a very kind and helpful host, trying to do the utmost to make you feel welcome and comfortable during the stay. The room has a stunning view on the (sometimes wild) atlantic coast. The breakfast is very good, with lovely homemade bread an pastries. Journey’s End is perfectly located to discover the coastline and the more rogue inlands.

Everything surpassed expectations- breakfast, size of room & bathroom, presentation, location, advice on local sights… highly recommend !

Cannot think of any improvements required

Of our two week trip, this was our favorite place. Gil and Alan were wonderful and so helpful! They also gave us great advise and directions. The breakfasts were fabulous! The location is quiet, yet very close to many sights we wanted to see. Our room had a sitting area separated from the bedroom, the bathroom was spacious, and the skylights provided a nice flow of air and a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely go back and spend more time there!
