My friend and I stopped for one night and had a lovely time ! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, the beds are comfortable, facilities are very clean, and there is a lovely view of the bay from the dining room. Perfect place to stay in if you're looking for somewhere calm from where you can travel around the county.

High quality hostel accommodation. Lovely dining room. Betty was super helpful. Perks included duck eggs and regular eggs. We travelled as a large group and booked multiple rooms, it worked out great.

I would I could rate this higher! This hostel is fantastic, beautifully decorated and has a very warm and cosy feel. The beds are warm and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. The host is lovely and supplies free coffee, milk, breakfast, eggs from her hens and ducks. So wonderful!!

This was a beautiful little place. Without doubt the best overnight stop on our motorcycle tour. The location is scenic, the place itself is perfectly clean with well thought out accommodation with everything you could need. There were fresh eggs from the owners own chickens to use for cooking your own breakfast. The people running the place were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help you. There’s nowhere to get food in the village so it meant a 20 minute ride to Belmullet for a meal but this wasn’t a problem. There’s a friendly little pub a couple of minutes walk from the hostel The location is ideal for exploring part of the Wild Atlantic Way

Great equipment in the kitchen, great view from the lounge, showers and toilets very clean and stocked with shampoo and shower gel. Unfortunately, I did not meet the host because I arrived very late. But the girl who cleaned in the morning was extraordinarily nice. My room looked out into the garden, where geese and chickens were running. Overall a very quiet and peaceful energy of this hostel. Price-performance ratio unbeatable! 100% recommendation!

My friend and I had an unforgettable time here! After our last hostel experience we were surprised by how wonderful this was. Truly this is the most amazing place to go in Ireland. I’d even go so far as to say that this is one of the coolest accommodations I‘ve ever been to. I’d 100% come again if I‘m ever back in Ireland. It’s beautiful!! There’s a pig, ducks, geese, chicken and sheep. There was fresh eggs for free we could use for our breakfast. The views were breathtaking and the people soo nice!!! Felt like home.

The dining room has a fantastic view over the water. Our host Betty, was delightful and very helpful. We had a private room and ensuite which gave a sense of luxury in a hostel. Very clean. Great location: close to both Belmullett and Carrowteige Peninsulars.

Honestly, if i HAD to pick something, it would be lack of an ENSUITE shower/toilet but the facilities were only 3 or 4 doors down the hallway anyway and they were spotless and all with complimentary toiletaries etc so there was not really anything i could complain about.

Absolute gorgeous place. Was so clean and peacefull, Betty who runs the place was an absolute pleasure - lovely wee lady.
