Great location right in the lung of town.

The vibe feels a little off. It's great that the place serves those seemingly more permanent residents who seem like a short step away from homelessness. Dirty dishes piled in kitchen. 10 second button showers operating at 1000°. You get what you pay for here.

Cleanliness - Poor. For a family, with kids, they shouldn't have any options advertised at all. Not advisable for a family. I had paid for the booking. The room and the surroundings had some type of odd smell. So we decided to vacate. I had politely asked the staff at the reception if we could get a refund. He said he would re advertise the room and provide a refund the next day. I looked at the website the next morning and the staff also confirmed that my name was still registered as the booking the next evening. So I was told wrong.

Location. Room I had was quiet.

Better attention with the cleaning of this place. Room was fine but I noticed stains on the pillowcase on the other bed in the room I was staying in. Staff are helpful but could be friendlier. Take the €3 for the towel rental by card!! Not everyone has cash or coins on them these days! Almost an ordeal to get change back from €20.

Perfect location, close to the bus and railway station and just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. It had a nice, friendly atmosphere and the staff were helpful, even if rushed off their feet, as it was busy when I came!

The kitchen could have been a bit better equipped. There were very few bowls.

very small for 4 beds in one room, only one charging port for 4 people in room, cleanliness is a big issue, and shower is not great, you have to keep it pressed to have showering no adjustment of hot water....you have to shower under the hot water which can burn your skin...beds are very old and not comfortable...

Well-situated, with decent accommodations for the price, as Killarney is very popular.

Restrooms, showers and rooms could use a refresher... While the bedding is comfortable enough, there's little privacy and not much storage (no shelf or outlet near the bed). My room (unfortunately) was right above the common outdoor area, so it was quite noisy sometimes.

The location was excellent

Shower was not working correctly, leaking from push button and water overly hot. Kitchen appeared dirty, very old appliances. Lighting poor. Some staff abrupt.

The location is fabulous and the staff was very friendly.

Well, there were no bedbugs, room itself was clean I’m fairly certain the linens had not been changed. I really preferred the hostels where you made your own bed with fresh linens and then you returned your sheets at the end of your stay. We stayed at other hostels that did a much better job of making certain that there were quiet hours. This place was so loud. We had trouble sleeping and didn’t quiet down until about two in the morning, but then people were very loud from about 5 o’clock am onwards.. so we only got about three hours of sleep

The location was good close to the city and the bus and train station so ideal for travelling Some kitchen essentials were available.

The toilets were not cleaned regularly enough since they did not always flush right. The room needs more sockets as a 5 person room only had 2 sockets. The microwave did not work, neither did part of the stove. Windows would be nice if they could open further.

Beds were clean. Staff were helpful. Great location.
