We stayed in the Executive Suit and we found the bed was not really comfortable but overall the room was great.

Overall it was amazing experience the highlight for us was the Spa . The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Everything - Great service throughout. On arrival a very warm welcome. Our room was fantastic - spacious and clean. We had a lovely meal in the Oak and Anvil restaurant and the food and service was great. Similarly the breakfast was of a high standard - plenty of choice too. Very helpful staff through the hotel, which the hotel should be extremely proud of.

Everything, from the time we arrived we got a warme welcome from the front desk, we were attending a family wedding, That bar staff were very helpful and friendly, the food and service at the wedding was amazing, Next morning the self service breakfast was fantastic food was hot and delicious, the staff in the breakfast room was fantastic Martina was one of the staff she was so friendly and very professional, The walks in that garden are a must do, Overall it is a fantastic hotel/ venue, very happy 😊

The breakfast room was like a train station, so busy! The table was not cleaned properly before we sat down, the chair was dirty, and food under the table!

The meals were excellent but someone’s the same item one day was gorgeous and the next day the same item was just ok! The room was too hot at night despite having the fan on which was quite noisy.

The food options were excellent, particularly the breakfast. The other meals offered a good selection. The twin room was surprisingly large and the overall aesthetic of the decor was beautiful. The staff were particularly pleasant and nothing seemed too much trouble. The convenience of everything being so close added to the stay, having a playground, green areas and beautiful gardens enhancing the stay. Offering board games and activities for children is excellent. High lighting the availability of bikes should be highlighted when guests arrive.

The only thing that put a bit of a bummer on our stay was that I had requested and paid for a birthday tray and card to be left out for my partner and when we arrived this was not there, the booking was specifically to celebrate his birthday so I was disappointed with this. I went down to reception to explain the situation and a lovely man apologised and said he would send someone straight away. We waited in the room for 3 hours with still no show of the birthday tray. We eventually headed out for dinner at about 8pm and when we arrived home the tray was there but no card to go with it after being told there would be. At this point the surprise was ruined as I had already told my partner the situation. I am not complaining as I understand maybe you were busy but just thought I would note as to why I have not given a higher rating.

Very friendly staff, rooms were lovely very comfortable bed which is something we find hard to get in hotels. Breakfast buffet was nice also.
