Beds were comfortable and the grounds were nice

Shower was not working . We used the spa facilities and it was disappointing. Looked old, was not kept clean and parts were out of order.

Large hotel. Good spa and leisure facilities. Really enjoyed the bar residents bar at night, good atmosphere.

The long walk to the rooms. Two lifts needed.

Overall it was amazing experience the highlight for us was the Spa . The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

We stayed in the Executive Suit and we found the bed was not really comfortable but overall the room was great.

    Cosy beds

We stayed here as a family with a small child, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Firstly, the location of our room was very inconvenient — having to use two elevators with a stroller made it very uncomfortable. It was also surprisingly difficult to find both the exit and the pool — the layout of the hotel is confusing and not well signposted. In the room, we were given only one teabag for the entire family, which felt quite stingy for the price we paid. We also had dinner at the BBQ restaurant, which was very overpriced. There were barely any French fries, the meat was poor quality, and the service was disappointing. We were seated at a table full of dirty dishes, and even after asking three times, no one came to clear them. Overall, we were expecting a much better level of service and quality for a hotel in this price range. Would not recommend for families with small children.

Lovely setting, grounds very well kept. Comfortable beds. Good location for exploring local attractions

The cleanliness of the rooms, corridors and elevators could have been to a much higher standard considering it is a 4 star hotel. There were scuff /dirty marks on doors, around light switches, walls, in elevators that could easily be taken care of as part of daily routine cleaning. The bathrooms were a little dated.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the food is lovely. Bar and wait staff were pleasant and helpful.

Expensive room, expensive drinks. Layout is quite awkward having to go upstairs and then back downstairs to get to our room on the other side of the hotel. Check in is late, and was further delayed with long queues despite knowing a wedding party was arriving. We were told they would call us and we could leave our bags there and they would be brought to the room, but they were not. Front desk staff were not overly plesant.

Everything - Great service throughout. On arrival a very warm welcome. Our room was fantastic - spacious and clean. We had a lovely meal in the Oak and Anvil restaurant and the food and service was great. Similarly the breakfast was of a high standard - plenty of choice too. Very helpful staff through the hotel, which the hotel should be extremely proud of.

Nothing - we couldn't fault anything.and can't wait to our next visit.
