Nothing it was super!!!

We had a fantastic stay, the host Magda was super accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and we were alllowed to check out later which really helped with our flights. The rooms were super clean, the cottage is big and bright, The views are breath taking. We will definitely be back again.

The cottage could do with a revamp but the host said it will be done for next year 2024. One of the bedroom windows was broken which unfortunately was during wet and stormy weather 😕

Excellent location-Right next to the blue flag beach and another blue flag beach 5 mins walk away. Only 15 min drive to kinsale and approx 30mins to Clonakilty and Inchydoney. The house provided lots of space for our family and 3 bathrooms. The open fire was a lovely addition to this cosy cottage. The host leaving us t-bags, milk, biscuits and fruit on arrival was much appreciated

There was milk, tea and all the basics left for us, the property was clean and warm when we arrived . The area is lovely and a very short drive to Ballinspittle and Kinsale. we stayed two nights and the location and size of the property was ideal.

House was spotlessly clean, well appointed and comfortable beds. Nice touches like fresh flowers fresh milk and biscuits on arrival.

Garden not fenced and therefore full of excrements...from dogs from other houses nearby.

Location is just amazing, wonderful area. Nice and quiet.

The 10 am leaving time was a little early. The actual site was not clearly signposted and we did get lost trying to find it as it was dark.

It was warm clean and comfortable and Magda and the cleaner were very friendly.

There were a lot of pet hairs around, not nice for people with allergies. Only small investment would increase feeling comfortable, e.g. new TV remote and the shower curtain upstairs was awkward. It would be nice to have chairs for sitting outside at the backside of the cottage.

The cottage (we had No. 6) is located about 2 minutes away from the beach, the coast and beach are stunning. The cottage has a lot of space, for 8 people no problem. Also very quiet around. Bed clothes, towels and baths were clean. Equipment in kitchen was all working.

We arrived late at night and it was dark, so we had difficulty finding the property. It would be helpful if the sign was by the road, rather than up the drive. Our TomTom couldn't find the postcode - should have used Google maps on my phone! The electric storage heaters in the living room and hall didn't really warm up so, if you were out all day and it wasn't worth lighting the open fire, the living room was rather cool in the mornings and evenings.

The location was very convenient for the beach (had hoped to go swimming but it was rather cold and windy) and for coastal walks - we enjoyed our walk out to the signal station on Old Head. We also enjoyed our meal at The Speckled Door pub nearby. There was plenty of space in the house and it was well provided with kitchen equipment. The beds were comfortable.

This didn't affect our stay but just an observation, the house is quite dated so could probably do with an uplift, still has old storage heaters and hot water heater (which wasn't enough for 8 ladies washing their hair!), although I'm not sure whether this is due to regulations. Although this is also probably reflected in great price!

Cute little house in a fab location! Right next to the beach and coastal walks, and not too far from Kinsale and even Cork. House is great value for money and a great size for 8 people, deceivingly big!

The heating wasn't working in the ground floor rear bedroom. The iron leaks and there was no WiFi.

maintenance and the kitchen equipment / settings were a bit hit and miss. some furniture broken and bulbs not working

The size of the house , the no of bedrooms, the space outside and the location is ideal for us . The house is tired and in need of a makeover.

The cottage was beautiful, very clean and cosy, very safe for children, we went as a family of four,. The location was perfect, beach right in front of cottage, local pub and restaurant within walking distance (20 mins). I would definitely come back again,
