No clear signage to identify which property quickly. I suggested that a cut-out of a kitty cat would do it, as it is a residential area.

Gerard does everything he can to make you feel at home. He offered to collect me from town if needed. He seeks feedback to ensure he hasn't overlooked something.

The parking area is a bit rough, but It will be stunning inside and out once it is completed.

The location and price attracted us. The place is under a bit of construction, but the work that’s completed is beautiful. The host has excellent taste. The upstairs bathroom has gorgeous gigantic tiles like I have never seen. There are a few tiles left to be placed but apparently there are trades people shortages. The shower was modern, clean and had plenty of hot water. The host was so lovely and apologetic for the shortcomings of the place. We sat for more than an hour getting to know him and hearing about what he is doing with the place. We will definitely stay again.

House is under reconstruction-common bathroom is not in function completly, so the shower in one of the rooms must be used. Water supply for that shower is unsteady-there is water and then there isn't. We recomend booking when reconstruction is finished

It appeared to be new. After we met, I was offered my choice of rooms. He almost went overboard on trying to please me by opening his home to me. The accommodation was very nice. He was very friendly and communicated well with me. We got along well. He also insisted that I eat my meal in the kitchen as a t rue guest.

The property is getting some updates so couldn’t have a shower but the host is working hard to get this sorted out.

I liked the location. It was only 15 mins out of the centre of Limerick. Gerard the owner was very helpful couldn't do enough for you and also a real character.

The shared bathroom was very shabby and not clean. I understand Gérard is slowly remodelling but the bathroom needs attention immediately. If only a daily clean.

Easy to find as the EirCode is posted on the pillar entrance, lovely clean room , huge comfortable bed , the shower room is getting a makeover, this was not a problem as there is a bathroom on main hall way , we were informed of this beforehand over the phone . We were attending a funeral and all we needed was a bed and a good night sleep . It’s a help yourself to breakfast set up , we were happy to do so , slice of toast and a cup of coffee is all we needed , the house is being upgraded bit by bit , don’t let this put you off . We were satisfied with our room and a good night sleep, plus the chats in the morning . There are 10 rooms in all .

The room met our expectations, with a very comfortable bed. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was modest but completely sufficient for one night. The place has its own unique charm, and we felt as though we were in a regular home. A small renovation is still in progress. Gerard takes great care of his guests and pays special attention to the quality of the room’s furnishings. He is very open and hospitable, which made us like him a lot. If you don’t have excessive needs and want to feel at home, we highly recommend this place.

Confusing to drive to, especially when dark.. postcode on gate does help... Big sign post stating house could help... Roads twisty so needed to go slow... House under construction... very organised and quietly done so that was no bodder really..

Loved the newness and freshness of whole house.. Beautiful fine house.. Loved countryside. Gerard puts himself out of his way to see if all ok, great host and I was told I could use kitchen, lounge and food in fridge.. Loved the room, ensuite, very clean. Gerard fixed up tv on my room, great reception and free wifi.. Beautiful spacous room..

Some parts of the house were unfinished but clean.

Gerard was a very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The room was very large, about 7m x 7m, with a 2m x 2m ensuite. While breakfast was not included, Gerard allowed us complete access to the newly renovated kitchen. A small bar fridge was in our room for our food/drink. Understanding that the house is being renovated, the accommodation was clean and tidy. We would stay there again.
