Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesUnit could have been cleaner. ADHD bathroom on main floor had strange placement of sink. Dining room couldn’t sell us just coffee in the morning with cash payment. They wanted us to work with the front desk to pay and have it applied to our room.
Good location and large unit with lots of room for a family. Had all the needed appliances.

United StatesWhile the guesthouse was definitely very clean and comfortable, it is dated. Also, the kitchen, while mostly well equipped, there was no wine/bottle opener and the fireplace wasn’t operational.
The guest house was roomy and having 3.5 baths was an unexpected bonus.

Then another member of staff who said they were manager of that area , told my group the member of my party who I had spoke to the other member of staff had to leave that area, when am group tried to explain this person keep saying I am the manager they have to go. They didn't speak to their staff at all , late they sent a non-apology apology. I am still waiting to hear for the hotel manager that was 4 days ago..

The 3 town houses were perfect for what we wanted, family of 22. We all had our own room with en-suite. Walking distance to hotel were your free to use facilities.

United StatesThe heat system was stuck on high and the temperature was very very warm in the flat. We had to leave all the windows open constantly. When we asked for assistance, they sent a person to help, but the person was not able to fix the issue while we were there. We received a call later and told to close all the valves on all the radiant heaters, however, the heat seemed to be emanating from the floor still. So, we left the windows open and did our best to not sweat too much while in the flat. It was uncomfortable.

United KingdomCould do with a little tlc - fresh coat of paint and shower heads upgraded. Bit far out of town with limited transport links.
Stayed in a self catering courtyard house within the hotel grounds. Keys were picked up from the hotel reception. House has good sized bedrooms, comfy beds and plenty storage space. Good base for visiting Boyne Valley if driving. Nice walk along the River Boyne into town on a dry day.

IrelandTo late a check in was a delay and it was after 4.30 when I got In. And I think check out at 10am is ridiculous should be the same as the hotel.
How spacious the rooms were and each room has an ensuite. Everything you would need for cooking if you wanted.

United StatesWhen I arrived at the check in desk on November 19th the manager Michelle was berating a young female staff member who appeared to be new. Michelle knew I was at the desk but totally ignored me. For what seemed like 10 minutes + . When she finally asked me how she could helpI explained that I was checking in for the two cottages that I had booked from the USA months in advance. I asked her for the numbers of the cottages and if they were next to each other and she said no, they never have side by side cottages available next to each other. That sounded ridiculous as all of their cottages are next to each other. Michelle in my opinion was very unprofessional. I had to ask for her name, she did not represent this fine establishment very well.
We booked 2 cottages for our family of 10 children and 8 adults traveling from the USA. We raised our children in Trim and wanted to show our young grandchildren where their dad''s grew up
