The only thing we missed was having at least a small fridge in the room.

A wonderful place to stay if you're planning to visit the spectacular Kylemore Abbey with its gardens, as well as Connemara National Park. Both attractions are located along the same road as the property, just a few kilometers away. The property itself is only 30 meters from a beautifully situated lake. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The shutters didn't close off the windows entirely, leaving space for sunlight to enter through the sides. I'm a light sleeper, and since the sun is up really early, I was too unfortunately. The people upstairs went to bed much later than we did, as could be heard through the ceiling, so unfortunately, I didn't have a full night's sleep.

Our room was nice and clean, with a great (although a bit small) bed. We booked super last-minute and still could move in the room quickly. It was modern, recently renovated. Communication with the hosts was really good. We arrived too late for any restaurants to serve any food, but the supermarket was still open so we bought something there and we asked for some plates and cutlery and got it without any problem even pretty late in the evening. They also informed us of the free shuttle service from Letterfrack for if you wanted to drink at one of the bars there, that was great! Letterfrack was really close, only an 8min drive, with several nice restaurants. Kylemore Abbey was only 5mins, the location was really great. We had a great stay and would stay again!

No view of the beautiful scenery from the room, so a little dissappointed about that. But it was a last minute booking so maybe the other rooms were booked.

Very comfortable room, perfect for my son and me with the two beds. Great price and very clean. Quiet location which is what we wanted after a long car journey.

Great location and lovely house, nice spacious room. Very easy self check-in and check-out. We didn't have any issues with bugs or anything at all, even though it's so close to the water. Would definitely go here again.

The shower was cold in the morning and my room was right off the main hall. I could hear all of the conversations.

The room was stunning and well stocked. There was plenty of space for parking and close to Kylemore Abbey and the national park.

Pretty far from towns

Lovely place. Older home but bed was so comfortable!! They also allowed me to do laundry there .. we were so grateful! Beautiful views too

Didn't realize the severity of the bugs outside. Eaten alive while packing into the car and then they became stowaways on our journey. Otherwise, great place and recommend for backpackers who need a cheap place to stay.

Private bath, basic amenities were provided, the place was clean, quiet, and secular. We arrived late and now staff was necessary for check-in/out.
