It's hard to complain about anything if honest, but 2 things I would point out to future guests is that sound carries in the house very easily, and you need €1 coins for the pool table. We were left with 3 to start us off (which was appreciated) but didn't have any more on the first day, so make sure to come with some change.

Margaret and her daughter gave us a very warm welcome, lots of information on the area, along with places to eat/get delivery. They also left us a lovely welcome basket with some goodies. We were a group of friends and family with teens and younger kids. They had an area in one of the family rooms with lots of books, toys and games which the younger ones loved! Outside, there was a fab area with a fire and pizza oven, a covered area with a pool table, and a few other games. There was also a sound bar for us to connect to so we could listen to music. The house was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked with clean utensils, plates, glasses, etc.. everything you would need. Bedrooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were a short drive from the town and a beautiful park at Lake Mukno. Lots of feeding the ducks and playing in the play park and green areas. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back

Everything about this house was exceptional. The host, Margaret, was extremely nice and hospitable. From the comfy, clean house to the Welcome basket, everything about or stay was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone, whether it's a family stay or a friendly get-together, the house, the facilities and host were outstanding in everyday. Thank you so much for everything, we'll hopefully be back for the next 40th in our group.

Place was spotless and well furnished. The beds were very comfy and kitchen was well stocked. The host was superb and even left us a little basket of treats. The facilities were exceptional and we really enjoyed the games room. Will 100% be back again.

We had an amazing stay at Lake View Lodge. Our large group made up of adults, children and babies enjoyed every minute of our stay as we rang in the new year. The house is very clean and very spacious. Each bedroom had loads of room, so this was perfect for the families to stay together. There are lovely walks close to the house and the views are beautiful. It was so peaceful. Margaret is so lovely and accommodated us very well. She has plenty of knowledge of the area and had the house set up perfectly for the Christmas season. It was magical! We are already planning our next stay and are really looking forward to it.

Everything! The location, the views, the facilities, and the treats left by the amazing host. Appreciated all the little touches. Having the christmas decorations all over the house made our little getaway more special. Would love to come back during the summer to enjoy the bbq facilities and the games in the shed more.

Everything was perfect; nothing negative to be found at this property

The space in the house is just exceptional! Lots of rooms to relax comfortably and get some peace and quiet from the rest of the group. Lots of privacy in and around the property. The games area with the pool table was perfect for a competitive afternoon and some sore losers, lol. Margaret is a wonderful hostess who takes alot of pride in the property and enures her guests are comfortable. Love the space loved the place our whole group had a fantastic time. Thank you very much and we will likely be returning in the future.

There was nothing I wasn't happy about. The house was equip with everything you'd need. The house was spotless. Margaret was a darling and she even left a little welcome hamper. I loved everything.

Fantastic house. We spent the weekend here, 6 adults 7 kids, plenty of room, great dining facilities, bbq area, kids had a great time, lots of space to run around. Margaret was a great host and made us feel very welcome. We will be going back for sure 😊

Nothing, this was the perfect property.

The house is modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen / dining / sitting room area is warm and convivial. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. There are multiple sitting rooms and a detached recreation room in the back garden, meaning everyone had ample space. The view of the lake was lovely, as were the surrounding walks. There is so much to do in the area, and while you feel off the beaten track, you are well served with activities, takeaways, and taxis.

It was an exceptional stay for our annual extended family getaway. Margaret the host was just amazing and even left a surprise for my mum for her birthday! It was so nice and so thoughtful. The house was immaculate, there was so much room for everyone. Just everything about it was top class and we all loved it. So much so that we are planning on coming back again. The only minor drawback at Lakeview Lodge was the timely heating system, which took a bit longer than expected to warm up the space, but it was a small inconvenience in an otherwise delightful stay.

Our group of 12 adults and 3 children had an exceptional stay at the Lakeview Lodge Holiday Home.
