Location excellent. Very clean Food very good and gluten free options available.

Room very small. No clothes iron in room. No fridge in room. All noise carries. Guests in room above us were walking around until 4am. Every footstep could be heard - not conducive to sleeping well. Breakfast (continental), if included in booking, only includes granola/yogurt, bread & croissants. Any additional order e.g. eggs, fruit, cheese incurs an additional charge. This was not made clear on check in or at breakfast (only realised it when we were handed a bill on checkout). Breakfast service slow (took nearly 15mins to get a coffee after asking 3 times)

Our bartender Gary was really great. Beautiful smile and quick with a laugh.

My particular room did not have a ceiling fan, which I missed. It was a little warm at night.

    It was a lovely hotel

Room was small. Only window had stairs outside. I felt a little uncomfortable as I had to keep it open for airflow. Anyone could come in… only a continental breakfast considering what I paid.

    Location. Staff were delightful.

Our room was in ground floor/ lower floor and had a newly installed ceiling far.Despite this it was borderline too hot unfortunately. It was not especially hot outside (15-19 degrees) but the room temperature was uncomfortable and hotter inside than out.Difficult to sleep.

    central location

I should point out that we booked the suite, which is the most expensive room in the hotel, but despite this, there are many, too many, features that aren't suitable for a "4-star" hotel: there's no air conditioning (and no mosquito nets on the windows), no elevator, we paid for a room with breakfast included, but the selection was extremely limited (everything else was an extra charge), and no minibar in the room. The price was definitely too high for the stay.

    Location

Room was a bit tight compared to previous stays. Some of the nice touches from before like the hand soap were not lower there.

It was a lovely nite away, the room was fab, facing onto the street, loved the decor of the hotel, we were met by a lovely guy at reception and met him again on leaving, he was a really nice guy! Great facilities in room, very welcoming!

My only negative was breakfast, now when I booked, it said included! My payment was taken a few days prior and it was only on arrival we were tolded it was continental, now we were in lake garda a fortnight ago and had a continental breakfast included, far superior to yours, it did the job fine but it is misleading when on booking breakfast included! It wouldn't but me off staying again though

We had a wonderful experience staying at this small historic hotel during our trip to Ireland! The building itself is full of old-world charm, beautifully maintained with just the right touch of character. Each room, while compact, was thoughtfully designed, warm, and incredibly cozy—perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The location couldn't have been better. Nestled right in the heart of town, we were just minutes away from the start of the Ring of Kerry and had easy access to all the highlights of Killarney. We loved being able to walk to local shops and pubs in the evening and enjoy the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. One of the standout features was the breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs—it was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a place with history, heart, and a fantastic location for exploring southwest Ireland, this little gem is hard to beat.

While the rooms were generally very comfortable, we did notice a bit of variation in temperature: one room felt a touch too warm, while the other was slightly on the cooler side. It wasn't a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you're particular about climate control.

Delightful spot, great location in centre of town. Room was lovely, very nicely decorated with excellent fittings and a very comfortable bed.

Although breakfast was included on Bookkng.com, we were informed that a limited continental breakfast was all that was included. Both the offering and the service of it left quite a lot to be desired. It let the hotel down.

It was clean and tidy food was lovely

On Arrival they would not accept our Blue Book voucher as we had booked through," Booking.Com " second morning at breakfast told only Contintal breakfast was included in our booking having had full Irish plus Contintal offered to us on previous morning when I questioned that fact a manager came down and in front of a packed dining room we were told we should not have been offered the full Irish on our first morning and ask us to pick from Contintal so we left feeling very annoyed at the way it was delt with in front of everyone .when leaving the lady at reception asked if everything was ok when I explained to her what had happened she asked us to wait for a few moments when she came back she offered the full Irish and apologized for miss understanding and allowed to go to restaurant as we said we could not go back in to dining room to face all the people that had heard what happened earlier When I made my booking it was advertised as 2:night stay with breakfast included there was no mention of it been just Contintal and at a cost of 5oo euro plus I would have expected to be the full Irish. Maybe thing should be made clearer when advertising what exactly is on offer and that voucher will only be excepted if you book directly with hotel .If it is in the small print maybe small print should be a little bigger and clearer
