Bed was really comfortable. Great location for visiting K Club. In a very quiet location. Liked the freedom to prepare continental breakfast when we wanted.

Great breakfast and location. Communuicating was a problem until I managed to get my head around the proceedure with the Booking.com app on my phone so entirely self inflicted! The house was fantastic and our host could not have been nicer or more helpful

Jim was an amazing host, dropped us to the venue our event was on. One of our guests was Ceilac and he offer to provide a suitable breakfast that wasn't on the morning menu

Jim is very laid back so it feels like your own home. He is also very obliging offering lifts to town etc. Location is very close to Maynooth and Kilcock, but also rurally set so it's very quiet. Best of both worlds. Will be back.

We had a couple of things to put in a fridge overnight, but the kitchen was locked. Not a major problem at all.

The breakfast was self-service, non-cooked which suited our needs very well. Everything was fresh and easily accessible. I have seen a wider selection elsewhere (eg hotels) but for a bnb this was perfectly adequate. The location of the breakfast venue, and the house as a whole, surpassed all expectations.

Having to leave!

Fantastic country house with a large well furnished, clean room and en suite bathroom. Lovely breakfast too. The host, Jim couldn’t have been friendlier. We will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was self service in the kitchen of the home with no one around apart from 2 other guests. And the cat, asleep in a box. All slightly eccentric, but I like that, which is why I stay in B&B and not hotels

Gorgeous setting, in such a lovely stately house. Jim our host was charming and so helpful. Would definitely highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing except for the challenge of finding it without navigational assistance.

The property and host are very nice. It is a rural and lovely location but a bit difficult to find if you don’t have navigation. I suggest that you ask the owner for a map if you’re like me and are without internet to support navigation assistance. Maynooth is a nice town also with good places for dinner.

Would have liked porridge at breakfast, but there were plenty of other cereals and muesli available.

Lovely welcome. Wonderful very comfortable characterful property. Best of all, the owner Jim Doyle could not have been more helpful. His knowlege of local fsmily history was fascinating for me.

Beautiful property and Jimmy was very friendly and a lovely host. We had a car which we parked on his drive. Don’t think this accommodation would be suitable for someone without a vehicle.

This house is absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious and clean room, which provided a comfortable retreat after a long journey. There was a massive bathroom, featuring a fantastic shower One of the best aspects of our stay was the full access to the beautiful, modern kitchen. It was well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals or enjoying a cup of coffee. To top it off, the host generously offered complimentary sandwiches and tea. The outdoor space is equally impressive, with a stunning garden that creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. What truly stood out during my visit was the owner’s exceptional hospitality. They were beyond helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed and eager to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. You won’t be disappointed!

I think it was unusual for our particular visit but we only saw our host once - at breakfast. It would have been nice to have had more contact with someone. It just felt a little strange. The owner was friendly on the one occasion we saw him.

Location perfect, close to relations and the motorway for further travel. Comfy bed in a large room. Quiet
