Efficiënt and clean room with shared fully equipped kitchen. Brand new and very clean. Welcomed with a big smile of the host. Large window in large room with daylight in the room. Good bed. Garden. Easy parking.

Not a central location from Cork city point of view. No TV in the room.

Tea and coffee available. Lovely host. V clean. Handy for the airport.

We did not like that you could not walk to anything from the location. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery. Having facilities to make hot drinks in the room was not available. We had not realized that the bathroom was shared ahead of time (there was no one staying in the other room, so we were not affected by this).

The property was immaculate. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. 1 parking spot that we used was great.

Some small details were missing: No bin in the bedroom and we had to search for the host to get more than one roll of toilet paper. Then, there were a few things unclear: The booking.com description sounded like we had a sparsely equipped kitchen for ourselves. In fact, we shared a quite well equipped kitchen with the host, who also lived in the same house, and guests from a second bedroom. We are still not sure if we were allowed to use the fridge, because it was pretty full with the stuff from the host...

The host was friendly, the house was clean and bed very comfortable. Parking opportunities right in front of the house was very convenient.

No tea or water. It is exactly what it said room one but no public transport out of the room to any where.

This property is located in the wilderness. No good if you don’t have a car. Taxi 30 euros from Airport. Then 25 euros into cork city. Host didn’t even supply water .

When booking, we had requested an ensuite. However, the bathroom was in the common area. Booking.com should have informed us the ensuite was not available.

Really calm, and comfortable. Nice area, surrounded by nature. Host was incredibly kind, he did everything to make me feel at ease. He even drove me back to Cork because he was going there too. Thank you so much.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Totally misleading add here⚠️⚠️⚠️ This place should be on Air BNB NOT booking.com The whole add is designed to mislead you. Firstly 10 minutes to the Centre. That would give you the impression it’s to the city centre right? Wrong. Check the eircode. I lost €500 here because I checked out the first morning of a 4 night stay. I preferred to spend the additional €500 on another place. I asked for a reimbursement of €150 (which I realise I was not entitled to but the misleading add should have allowed me some compensation). They initially agreed as they wanted me to close it off on booking . Com so they could re let it. Even though I was fully paid up. So only fair they could refund a small amount. but then they decided they didn’t want to.⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Read below what my issues were👇

The only downside was the limited public transportation in the area.

I stayed with my daughter for 11 days and 10 nights. The room is spacious, the house very clean, and the host, Bernard, is very kind, respectful, punctual, and professional. We are very satisfied with our stay.

My friend and I stayed in Cork for 5 days, and the hosts gave us recommendations and they were so friendly. The house was really clean and we had access to everything that we needed. The area is really safe and I would definetely recommend this accommodation to spend a few days in the city.

Clean and comfortable place located in the Clogheen Kerry Pike neighborhood. Bernard is a gracious host, friendly, and knowledgable about the area. Kitchen and laundry facilities are excellent.

The host knocked on the door at 11.30pm at night. He was very insistent that he wanted to come into the room because he had forgotten to give me towels. I said no, and told him I could take them myself from under the bed but he insisted on it. I felt very uncomfortable. I was not alone in the room thankfully, which perhaps the host wasn’t aware of. Regardless, I felt very uneasy about the whole situation which felt wrong.

Nothing is mentioned about what you rent exactly! You rent one the room in the house. We asked for cancellation and refused for the fact to find another place to stay but the owner didn’t accept it . We find it to expensive for rent only one room within private bathroom or any other place into the house. With 100€ stay in hotel in Cork

We weren’t properly informed of if residents would be sharing bathrooms and if the residents were on premises. Not clear communication about checkout. Communal kitchen had food and dirty dishes left out overnight despite during check in being told to clean up after yourself.
