Dear Jaradat, We are truly saddened to receive your review. We would like to clarify that your initial reservation was made in a female-only dormitory. As you are male, it was not possible to allow entry into that room category. However, in order to assist you, we managed to find availability in our other unit so that you would not lose your reservation. As it was a different building with different accommodations, the price also varies. At the time, the difference was €8. Our receptionist explained the situation in detail, showed you the location of the other property on the map, and asked if you would like to be transferred. You agreed to proceed, and only the difference in price was charged. Please note that if there had been no availability in our other unit, the full amount of your booking would unfortunately have been lost. Instead, our team went out of their way to ensure you had a place to stay that night. We understand your frustration, but it is important to note that it is the guest’s responsibility to verify the room type and gender category before confirming the reservation. Dear Bello, We are truly saddened to receive your review, as according to our records you currently have only three reservations with us: The first reservation was canceled, and no charge was made, so you did not pay for it. The second reservation was the only reservation you used. Even though you did not have valid documentation for check-in, we made an exception and allowed you to stay, when in fact we could have denied your entry. You also have a future reservation at our Studios unit, which has not yet been used. Additionally, you mentioned staying with us at the beginning of this year, but your very first reservation with us was on august, which was canceled. For this reason, the scenario described in your review — that your entry was denied and you were still charged — does not match our records. On the contrary, the only time you stayed with us, we went beyond our policies to provide you with the best experience possible and not deny your entry.
