I thought the price I paid was high. It just might have been since it was a little last minute.

The location was perfect, right in the center of town. The breakfast was great, plenty of options and everything was delicious. The staff were wonderful! So generous and friendly. The fan in the room was great, such a great touch.

The mattress definitely needs to be changed as it could have been more comfortable and a fridge in the room would have been ideal in the warm temperatures to keep drinks cold.

We left the do not disturb sign on door, yet the room was cleaned, my wife brings her own toilet roll to prevent infections and the cleaner removed that from the room

The hotel location is excellent, close the everything in central Killarney. The staff at check-in and throughout our stay were fabulous; polite and helpful. As we checked out, "Mister" McSweeney came over and introduced himself, and gave us a few bottles of water, to help with the heat outside. Overall, this was a very positive hotel experience, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending.

Loved this - was worried that it would be noisy when we arrived ( especially as there was a fun fair in town ) but was great - the colour of the building was great , the decor was good , location was perfect , we even got a parking space outside , twice !!! The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable

McSweeney Arms is a lovely historic inn in the middle of beautiful Killarney. When we arrived in the evening, the streets, pubs, and restaurants were full of Kerry fans cheering on their local team. As a result, we were not able to get in anywhere to get dinner. The staff at McSweeney's went out of their way to get us a table that night in their adjacent bar/restaurant. The staff there really treats you like family, and the rooms are very nice. The food in the bar was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I'm fortunate enough to return to Ireland. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Always nice to have AC as an option, but we didn't need it and they also provided fans in the room. Parking was in a ramp a little ways from the hotel, which was not a problem for us, but could pose problems for older or disabled visitors.

Great location downtown Killarney! Right in the center of all the action! Cute, well attended hotel. Awesome staff and excellent breakfast too! We loved it!
