we enjoyed a fabulous few days at Sea Whispers. such a fabulous house, so cosy, peaceful and has everything you need when staying in self catering. all mod cons, cosy sitting room with extra throws/blankets provided if you are cold to put over you when sitting in the sitting room. Ramona the host stocks the house up with toiletries incase you need anything. a welcome pack of biscuits awaits you along with tea, coffee etc. would definitely recommend this house when saying in Cork. the beds are so comfortable. the house is bright with lots of natural light streaming through. A gem of a find in Youghal we will definitely be back to explore some more.

Wished we had stayed longer!

The view from the kitchen was lovely, you could see the sea. The property was very clean & you felt right at home the moment you walked through the door. As for the item in the kitchen eg tea , packet of biscuits, it was great. The bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries. Ideal location to get round but you did need a car, as on top of a steep hill but that was said in the details Ramona supplied.

Hosts were responsive and accommodating. The house was exactly as advertised- partial view of the sea, near local amenities, spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need in a house was provided.

There was a problem with finding the house and getting in (we drove around for ages). The problem was we hadn't received the important email with the apartment number and the code for the key box. We rang the host a couple of times and once they answered they sorted the problem quickly and were apologetic. All good. Problems sometimes happen but in my book, it is how they are dealt with!

The parking is on a 1st come 1st serve basis, However we parked our car and the neighbor came out and said airbnb rentals cannot park by the apartment and made us move to the curb. Also upon entering the apartment the floor is not even, you can easily loose your footing, could be a potential trip hazard.

i liked the location of the apartment in a very secure gated neighborhood, The apartment has partial view of the sea. it was very spacious and more than enough room for 4 people and it was stocked with many bath towels. I would stay here again!

Parking is a problem. The parking lot was full so we had to unload a distance away and park up the hill.

Just an observation the toilet in the en-suite was was not weary clean and the wash hand basin was blocked every time we used it

We had to meet the owner personally to collect the keys but they were very friendly and flexible to meet us late in the evening.

This house was ideal for a night away with the family. The location was excellent just a two minutes drive into the town. House is stocked with all the essentials like towels, shampoos, shower gels and washing tablets. also supplied was milk, tea bags, coffee pods all of which were so ideal when travelling as a family of 5. Hosts were so accommodating and lovely people. Gabriel met us at check in and showed us around the house. We enjoyed our stay so much that after staying sat night I contacted the hosts on sun morning to see if the property was available for sunday night and Veronica replied swiftly to inform me it was and gave me a competitive price for the night. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone and I hope to visit here again in the future.

The accomodation was perfect and owners were very helpful and friendly. The house is located in a small and safety village with beautiful sea views. We really enjoyed it. Clean, comfortable and spacious apartament with a lovely welcome gifts. Very good equipped kitchen, streaming television, near to supermarkets. I can definitely recommend it.

We understood that quiet hours were to be observed, but we got a complaint from a neighbor before quiet hours and felt like we had to literally whisper and tiptoe around for the rest of the night to avoid disturbing her. That's difficult with a family.
