Our hosts were ever so kind, despite a mix-up during the reservation in regards to our daughter. They were able to find a solution for us which saved us money in the end. My daughter felt so at home here that she didn't want to leave. We had such a wonderful stay that now my husband is planning to move to this area for his retirement. The location of the B&B is ideal with the Healy Pass just a short drive away and all of the peninsula easy to get to from here.

Breakfast was full of choice. A great Irish breakfast. Maybe raishers (bacon) a bit chewey. Orange juice fresh Lovely fruit and yoghurt. Tea pot a little heavy for me Coffee good.

The room can be a little crowded with 3 people but was spacious enough to get a good nights sleep.

The property has an amazing view and location. It is nice and quietly tucked away but not too far from the coast or ring of Kerry. The staff was outstanding and beyond nice. The owner recommended a nice food spot and hosted us graciously. She is accommodating, friendly and communicative. We loved our stay here!

I liked everything about this property. I will highlight it is quiet and the scenery is superb just like the name. The host was friendly and helped us with dinner and seeing the peninsula. Breakfast was excellent.

Everything was perfect - only the location is a bit far off the normal road (a plus for one, a minus for another person).

It was a lovely stay with a perfect host. We could enjoy the nice beds, the calm area and foremost the excellent breakfast in the morning. If you like to have nice and accommodating hosts, this the place to go.

Super dreamy place to stay... The view is breathtaking, waking up with a beautiful and sumptuous breakfast. The staff is super welcoming and lovely. If relaxation and being away from the city is what you're looking for. This is the best place to be! Will definitely go back!

It was on the expensive side (over €130), but the hosts and the breakfast were so great, that it offset this :-)

Mountain View is a bungalow on a farm on the Beara Peninsula Co. Kerry. The views are fantastic and we stayed two night as part of a bike tour. We had a wonderful day cycling around the peninsula including the stunning Healy Pass and Ardgroom Peninsula. Sheila, our host couldn't have been more delightful and accommodating. She kindly provided a 3 course lovely supper (€25 pp) with about 30 mins notice - and the second night she recommended the excellent Josie's restaurant - ace food but about 4km away. Breakfast was delicious - fresh sconces, great B&W pudding. Sheila on our last day kindly took our bike panniers into Kenmare so we had less weight for a challenging days' biking. I would highly recommend Mountain View. A lovely family, most engaging.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hostess was delightful. Fantastic breakfast. Absolutely beautiful location. Great common room with a pleasant fire in the stove. Friendly dogs also. It couldn't have been better.
