I initially got given a room where the window was blocked by a wall half a meter away, so there was no proper direct sunlight making the room feel like a cell. Fortunately, the receptionist agreed that this was no good and swapped the room on request.

Good breakfast, no waits, plenty of food items (though fresh fruit would be nice to have). Dinner options at the bar were good. plenty of parking.

Reception staff were great and friendly. Restaurant however was slow service for evening dinner. Would take your food order and didn’t ask us if we wanted a drink. Food was quick coming but you were left waiting for taking orders and if you did order drinks. Bare in mind this is during the week and not too busy. People beside us that came in left again as didn’t get attended to while we got a meal and staff still didn’t notice until collected their menus. This did seem a bit better on night 2.

The bedroom was poor. In dire need of a makeover. I understand most rooms have been upgraded. This is becoming typical of using Booking.com - you get a much poorer room experience. Tempted to start booking directly in future which is a shame

The bar was really lovely and so were the staff - 10 out of 10 for these two aspects of our stay.

Noisy due to the main road and in the hotel itself with the families. Irish and English food in the restaurant, really disappointing. Really need a full renovation for style.

Room outdated, bed not very comfortable. We mentioned that an electrical box in the room had made noise all night on the first night. Notified staff and they sorted the issue out.

Most Staff are very friendly, huge compliments to the chef the food was outstanding we dined every night of our stay.

Nice hotel. They are getting some much needed renovations at the moment, so be nice. Great central location for exploring Donegal. I was up visiting my daughter who was in a summer camp.

Comfortable room, the gym was great and pool and sauna good too. Note you need a swim cap for the pool but they sell it for €3. Breakfast buffet was excellent, was an additional €14. The food in the restaurant and bar were great, the restaurant had a lovely ambience. Lots of parking outside and close to the centre

I was part of a large family group of 11, with my elderly mother in a wheelchair. No seating facilities in front foyer. Inadequate facilities for disabled persons. Some access areas and doors locked so I had to take her on detours around hotel to get to seated area. My mother was also put on the 3rd floor bedroom area, a very considerable distance for pushing a wheelchair.

Local to shops etc, adequate parking.
