Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe location is an old manor, similar to what you see in Bridgerton. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It was delightful to find that we had booked an old manor that plays well into it's strengths! Our host was fantastic. The are plenty of old trees and gardens to enjoy during the stay. If we would have known how great this spot was we would have centered our visit of central Ireland around this place.

AustraliaI didn’t like leaving. Pull away from the driveway from the last time was heartbreaking.
Oh my gosh! As we drove up the drive way, the sight of the house took our breath away! Beautiful is an understatement. We thought it couldn’t get any better than what we saw from outside with the house and gardens… but then we were greeted by a fury bundle of puppy love and the wonderful host, Jean.. Jean showed us to our room. Helped carry our luggage and made us the best cuppa we had had all week! The room was simply stunning, quiet and the beds ever so comfortable. Jean was very friendly and chatted away with us, explaining the history of the home and suggesting a place for dinner. Breakfast was served with a smile and made fresh to order with a huge amount of choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

United StatesNothing.
The 200+year old house is spectacular. I felt like I was walking into a Jane Austen novel. It looked out over a beautiful landscape with grazing cows and a beautiful garden. The house was decorated with great taste and discernment. Jean, our hostess, was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us lots of good advice. The breakfasts were I think the best we had in our 10 days in Ireland -- made to order, everything from yogurt, fruit, granola, to homemade scones and the full Irish breakfast.

Jean and her husband were the consulate hosts. We were greeted warmly upon arrival to their amazing property. Our room was lovely with wonderful sheets, fabulous view, and a well designed updated bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with homemade scones, wonderful coffee in a French Press, and a full Irish Breakfast that was perfectly prepared and delicious. I cannot overstate what an amazing property this is and how much we enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely return!!

Jean is a great host and tour guide, she even wrote an itinerary for us. The home is a credit to her. Breakfast was served in the lovely sunny dining room on Wedgwood crockery. Jean must have been very early in the morning to cook all the lovely pastries for breakfast, also you can have anything you like even a full Irish breakfast. Far too much for me but my partner had the lot! When we return to Ireland again we will make a beeline to stay with Jean again. Cashel is a very interesting village to spend a few days in.

United StatesThe location is not for those who want to walk to town (it's a 15-20 min drive to Cashel). It is called a "Country House" for a reason! But it you don't mind driving, don't miss this bnb!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this a BnB is! From the moment we pulled up the long driveway to the home, we felt that we were in a movie. The house if beautifully decorated with high ceilings and lovely decor that kept the vintage feel of the home without it feeling "old." The rooms were clean and spacious. Our host was kind and helpful. Watching the sun set over the field with cows grazing in the distance is something I'll never forget. We wished we could have stayed longer to rest and relax.

United StatesWe arrived at the Noan Estate jet lagged and frazzled from many hours of travel and this warm and welcoming home was the perfect cure. The grounds are beautiful and allows for a nice walk down the long driveway. The home is interesting and very beautiful (full of history, and antiques). The bed was so comfortable and the linens were very nice. I don't think that I have ever stayed at a place with a prettier bathroom. Jean is a very warm host that offered us tea/coffee when we arrived. She prepared a beautiful and ample breakfast in the morning. It was such a memorable "welcome to Ireland" meal and will always be one that we remember. The dogs that greated us upon arrival were SO sweet! We loved everything about our stay here.
