Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Can't think of anything
We really enjoyed our few days in Dungarvan staying at Number 10. Central location meant we didn't need to use our car until we left. Lovely comfortable beds. Spacious living area with great kitchen facilities.

It was lovely . Every thing was great but Could have done with another comfortable chair for 4 people . Currently only enough t for 3 people

I got 60e ticket within 10 minutes of been parked up while looking for a machine to pay . the parking is an issue. I couldn't relax with it .

Nothing. All great.
The apartment location is central to everything. Bedrooms very comfortable and the living area, upstairs, is spacious, bright, cosy and over looks Dungarvan Quay. A real treat. An added bonus was the use of the two bikes.

Could have done with a few more teatowels and a brush to sweep up.
Lovely bright space upstairs the sunlight comes in in the morning and it is great to sit on the balcony. Also for anyone with slight mobility issues as I have there was a lift and also flat streets to walk on -5 mins walk from shops bars and supermarket and bus stops.. Everything in the apartment was clean and fresh and the beds were super comfy.

A couple of comfortable lunge chairs would have been nice.
Excellent location in lovely town with plenty of traditional music in the pubs and lots to do nearby. Great to have a bathroom for each room. Comfortable beds. Lovely views over the castle to the water. Third floor but lift made it easy.

Did find little cold but but heating seating can be changed I'm generally a cold person

Would benefit from dish washing facilities as there was no dishwasher and lacked a tea towel or dish scrubber
Very comfortable 3rd floor apartment with lift great location was very close to restaurants and bars . It had great views of the harbour.

We would have liked a few more towels as we were 2 couples sharing the apartment and one of the bathrooms had only one bath sized towel and no hand towels. The other had 2 small towels and one bath sized. We had brought beach towels with us.
The location couldn't have been better: centrally located and easy to access everywhere and parking nearby was free. The apartment was spotless and milk, bread, butter was in the fridge for us.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. It was excellent. One or two minor things would have helped us further eg. two sets of keys , more information about location and parking on arrival, access to cleaning materials and information on waste disposal for a week’s stay.
A lovely light apartment. Location was excellent, close to the harbour. Shops and restaurants were all close by. Facilities were excellent.

Everything about the apartment was spot on. There was bread and milk in fridge when we arrived and treats, beds were so comfy and the apartment well kitted out. Lovely balcony with fab view

The apartment was lovely even better than in the photos. Very airy and spacious upstairs with lovely views. Central to everything. The host was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend.
