I thought for the price a continental breakfast would have been an easy thing to 8nclude. A shelf or something in the bathroom to put toothbrush on would be helpful. My door rattled anytime anyone came in or out the main door so woke me several times

The room was too warm and there was no fan so we opened the windows, but then it was very noisy because of the street. It would have been better if there was a fan.

We had a great stay. The room was a nice size and the staff were very helpful and held our bags before check in and after check out.

Just a small thing - toiletries like shampoo for shower would have been a nice touch. It just had soap and body wash.

Ideally located near the hospital, this place was absolutely perfect and spotless too. Comfy bed, nice shower and quiet. Ideal stay.

Room serviced every day but towels and basic toiletries not replenished. Window needed some half shutters as the only privacy screening was a solid blind. Needed shelves or drawers.

Not deal breaking, but the sink in the bathroom was very small and made it difficult to fill up water bottles and the kettle.

Comfortable and clean room with good facilities. Location was excellent - easy walking distance to everything! Check in at the property next door was easy. On site parking at next door’s property was also easy.

Unfortunately next to a surprisingly busy road- traffic sounds at night. Door isolation could be better- whenever someone closed their door forcefully mine also rebounded a bit in it's frame.

Loved how close it was to the river, the parks and the city centre. Spacious, clean room, with an excellent bathroom. Appreciated the fridge and water heater for tea. Would have liked to have a small table and basic utensils to be able to sit on the lovely wide windowsill and have a simple meal.

I had a lovely stay at Number 53, the room was perfect - very comfortable & clean and the en-suite was ideal. Location is very good, just a short walk from town and very close to the university, bus stops and restaurants/shops. I’d definitely stay here again!

My accommodation at 53 Newcastle was exceptionally comfortable and conveniently close to the university, making my stay seamless. The accommodation fully lived up to its advertised promises and even surpassed my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. Checking in and out was effortless, and a minor inconvenience that required a walk back to the property ultimately highlighted just how easily accessible it is from the city.

It would be helpful if the shower had a ledge or shelf included. Instead I tried to balance my shower essentials on the shower controls, which of course kept falling. Or just leave them on the floor of the shower, which is not favourable.

Easy access, 10-15 min walk from most attractions. Mini fridge, kettle, tea and coffee provided. The shower had great water pressure. Bed was comfortable. Cozy
