    The location

It’s an old hotel. Rooms not kept great. No cleaning during your stay. Bathroom wasn’t very clean when arrived. Check in at 3 we couldn’t check in until 4.30.

    Good view over the harbour

The dinner was terrible with very badly overcooked fish

Great location with a very good room and very friendly staff - good breakfast but dinner wasn’t great.

One of the main courses (mussels) was very poor and no comment from the waitress who collected the uneaten dish (or can asked how it was). Other dish was fine.

The hotel is overlooking the huge bay and you are looking directly at Donegal. If you pre book a room on the huge balcony, the views are exceptional. The dining room view is beyond belief. the food is great and the service too. we have stayed there many times and intend going back soon.

the bar notice board was not outside with their hilarious comments on

    Setting was lovely

But more atmosphere and the only place in Ireland we stayed that didn’t have entertainment

Unbeatable location in the heart of the harbour with a lively bar

Rooms are basic with cheap mattresses on the beds

Incredible location, staff were great, very polite and accommodating and good humoured. The room is very basic so for a night or two it's ideal.

The mattress needs replacing and the breakfast was fairly poor with limited selection- full Irish is on the menu though.

Mullaghmore is a really cute little village. The hotel was convenient, with friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and well appointed.

We ate in the restaurant. We didn’t particularly enjoy our meals. Both the salmon and the pork belly were overcooked and dry, although the breakfast was great.our room was very small.

Staff were great, the restaurant food was good, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable.

The room could have been cleaner, cobwebs, and damp smell in the bathroom.

Location was fantastic and beautiful sea views

Very noisy at night, lots of doors slamming and kids running around shouting even at 2am. The room was very disappointing and not clean. Very dusty, walls badly need painted lots of scuff marks. Carpet wasn’t hoovered. Lampshade very dirty with water stains. Stains on bathroom walls - black water run marks on 2 of the walls. Pillow on bed had a black stain on it. Stains on the walls in dining room where we were sat.

Beautiful setting, friendly hotel and lovely breakfast 😋

Bedroom had patio doors rather than windows so it was very warm in room during the night. However that is personal preference and would not put me off staying again
