Reviews of Pier view house

Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

Friendly, helpful host. Extremely clean and tidy. Free run of the sitting room, bathroom in addition to my very spacious room. Bedroom came with tea/coffee facilities and couple of chocolate bars. Also, very good value. The house is located equidistant between Roundstone and Clifden and a five minute drive from the village of Ballyconneely. Beautiful beaches are literally at the doorstep.

Even in bad weather, the place has character. Bridie is a considerate, flexible and enthousiastic host. Highly recommend!

Bridie was lovely — welcoming and warm. The room was gorgeous and we got it for a steal. Incredible views and accommodations. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Location was stunning! You can watch the sea from the bed! Also, location is so quiet so we got a really nice sleep. Bridie was so welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!

Location is fabulous. Our hosts were amazingly kind and helpful. Everything was done to make our stay happy and comfortable. GREAT beach, too. And go to the Trekking Centre and ride the Connemara ponies in the surf!

Hahaha, Irish weather! Some days were good, some not so much. But that's not in the hands of our hosts!

Personal experience being met by the host . She could not do enough for me . Kept in touch all weekend to see if I needed anything and omg what a beautiful setting. Location … a piece of heaven

Nothing all was amazing

I loved my stay at this accommodation. Bridie the owner was just so lovely and helpful. The house was so clean and tidy. Our room was really big. The bathroom was very clean and plenty of space. The internet worked well. There was plenty of room to park your car. If I was ever back in this area again, I would most definitely stay here.

We felt so much welcome. Very nice sea view by the windows, next door to fish smoking house. Perfect stay, highly recommended!

Excellent location

Would have liked an ensuite even though we had a private bathroom next door

Amazing location overlooking the beach and the pier. Only 20 minutes drive from Clifden and Sky road. We got a free room upgrade, which was much appreciated. The host was very nice, she even gave us a charger for our phones to keep, as we had forgotten to get an adapter (life saving). Would recommend to anyone visiting Connemara.

Pier view house was absolutely perfect. Homely, clean and amazing spot. Bridie couldn’t have looked after us better. A great place to stay!
