The room did not have a key, for when we went out. But Emil assured us it was safe and he would be around during the day. We realised that was a safe neighbourhood, so we stopped worrying. It has a simple lock for when we were in the room. The front garden is overgrown onto the path, and so we weren't sure if we were at the right house.

Our host, Emil was very welcoming and recommended ideas on things to see and do in Dublin. We had a car and needed parking so this accomodation was a good choice. We could walk to the buses, the shops, and into Dublin (30 mins). The room was small, but the bed was comfy. The sitting downstairs was very homely and had a lovely outlook onto the garden. We also enjoyed sitting out in the garden. The room was upstairs and the shared bathroom was downstairs - a night light would have been handy. The shower is in the bath which might be an issue for some people. Yes the house is older and a bit eclectic, but it was clean and comfortable.

It’s an old house, so you will find carpet and small room, for us it was not a problem, but a nice experience to know this kind of construction inside. ;)

It’s easy to arrive from the airport taking a line 101 or 41 bus for a 2,60 euros. Train station, buses and many restaurants, pubs and breakfast places just less than 10 minutes walk.

House was a little hard to find, maybe need bigger house number?

Thank you for an enjoyable stay at your cozy pension with a very nice garden with cool visitors including bumblebees, seagulls, and a grey heron! Very close to downtown Dublin with easy access to/from Dublin airport by bus. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☘️

When i arrived the owner apologised for the state of the garden outside and with the building looking dilapidated it has not had a lick of paint in years i already had reservations. When i walked into the dimly lit hall way, i had a feeling this place was a dump. I was brought upstairs to the bedroom. The bedroom was old and dimly lit. the shower / toilet was downstairs which is not great when you want to go in the middle of the night. Back Garden was a mess, When i asked where was the key for the bedroom i was told there are no keys for the bedrooms, when i asked what happens with my valuables and lap top i was told they would be ok. I didn't feel safe and i left immediately. To have no key for any bedrooms is a disgrace. The reviews bear no resemblance to what this building really is ( A Dump ). I paid £136.00 and i feel i have been scammed. I left this horrible place at approx 3.15pm and i booked a room through booking. com in the Skylon Hotel for £173.00. I would like a refund and this B&B reviews to be looked into.

That we had to go home the next day!

Lovely, friendly hosts in Mark and Emil. Made us feel very, very welcome. Really opened their home to myself and my partner. We were going to the AC/DC concert in Croke Park. We could literally throw a stone and hit the back of Hill 16. A few minutes walk to the stadium. Lovely back garden that we could sit out in. Would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat. A unique place to stay.

We asked the host if it was possible to leave the car earlier than the indicated check in time. This wasn't an issue at all and in fact, our room was also ready for us. You can park the car in the street and the host gives you a permit to put in front of your window. Finding a parking spot was very easy and close to the stay. We had a very warm welcome. The host had some friends over for tea and biscuits and offered us to join, which was lovely. A game was going on in the stadium close by, which we could hear, but at night, everything was very quiet. Great stay!
