I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about this property.

Love the countryside location with its convenient proximity to Cobh and Cork. It has a well-equipped kitchen and delightfully cozy bed. Nice views of the harbour as well!

Our booking said 3 beds. One was a double bed. The other two were fold out very uncomfortable sofas. We talked to the owner and she said “well they are beds. “ not what you think you will have to sleep on. Gas ran out for cooking. Husband knocked on their door 3 times and they wouldn’t answer, they were definitely in there. But as soon as a new customer arrived they were out the door in a flash.

Older Self contained upstairs with small kitchen facilities attached to side of rural house with lovely views over the ocean from the garden. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and a great break from the hotel hopping on holidays. Host was nice and communicated instructions well.

Redington House was stunning. The old stone walls had such character & my little girl loved seeing the goat, chickens, cat & dogs, which who were all very friendly! Also the bed was very comfortable & Shirley had kindly left lot's of little extras like teabags, milk, sweets etc!

This is a self-catering accommodation. The host met us on our arrival and guided us through the place, which has all the basic amenities necessary. She was in touch with me about the property regularly and made us feel very welcome. The property has a beautiful view of the Cobh harbour, and the environment is tranquil and peaceful.

The place is just unique, both interiors and the surroundings. Shirley is just a wonderful person. The great view all around. The place is quiet and serves well when you find something peaceful.

Slight noise from upstairs and Tv channels a bit hard to find. But only minor issue!

It’s very quiet and very well set up for people visiting the area. Very well set up for self catering, both milk and orange juice in fridge. Beautiful garden and flowers. Only 15min into Cobh. Made to feel very welcome! Would recommend!

Not that I didnot like, but I would suggest consider to upgrade furnitures especially sofas and consider have access to movie providers such as netflix or amazon prime for the Television, can be a nice family movie night after early dinner.

you will need a car the get there. Peaceful and beautiful farm and sea scenery. host was very responsive and were accommodating.

We did miss having a freezer as there was no freezing compartment in the fridge so we couldn't have ice. There was a plant in the bathroom window that had gathered a little bit of dust, but it was obviously a low maintenance plant so could be easily missed in the cleaning. Two very small issues out of a 5 day trip that we really enjoyed.

Shelly was a lovely friendly host and our accommodation was of high standard. I was so relieved that our double bed was comfortable and cosy and we were only 5 minutes outside Cobh. The shower was great and everything we needed was supplied, all for a reasonable price.
