Hi Coral, as outlined on my listings it does state that the kitchen is not available to guests so you would have been aware of this before booking. I facilitated you using the microwave and fridge in private area which has private marked on door, after you stated you had put items in fridge and hoped this was ok. Hi Brett, many thanks for your review. Guests are sent post code for use which brings them to property and also given details via message before arrival as to key points to look for close to property. With regards to heating, it is on a timer and if you did find the house chilly a simple message to me and I certainly would have assisted on this or when you spoke to me Saturday, as for the toilet, it is an older property so these issues can arise as the cistern does take time to refill.. Hope the rest of your trip went well, best of luck on the property search.

Hi Lesley, I am surprised you have given a review of this nature. As a solo female traveller myself. I can assure the shower does work as it is electric (which is clearly shown in photos) and details are given in the room and via message on how it's used as not every guest is used to an electric shower and clear instructions are given to each guest before arrival which I quote which you received and read..... The bathroom is equipped with an electric shower, please do not turn on and off the shower while in use as this will lead to the shower going extremely hot.... this is a manufacturer recommendation.....It also states where the power cord is for the shower itself. If you had bothered to check with me via platform you would have been given instructions, even though they are provided on message and in room,but I guess it's better to slate on a review than check with your host. And to assume no one lives there is also an incorrect detail as I was not available on site the duration of your stay and left an hour before your arrival that evening after 6pm, something which I do not need to explain to any guest. Details were given before your arrival of check in with entry details etc, you asked on departure via message ...who do I pay....but your reservation was paid for online as you would have known at time of booking... I have had many guests over the years on various platforms and this is a first to use the word unsafe for any reason on my property and have CCTV, as described, especially when I am a solo traveller myself. Perhaps in future accommodation more urban 5* would be to your tastes after all you did book a homestay property that had excellent reviews from other female solo travellers.

Unfortunately John the room may have seemed darker because of the poor weather that weekend, also as you would have seen I am in the countryside and trees are in abundance this time of year which may make the room seem darker also, I can assure you on a sunny day it is bright and airy. I hope you enjoyed your stay for Revival and in Kerry.

Hi Paul, glad you enjoyed your stay. I don't have tea/coffee facilities listed on description so you would have been aware of this before arrival. Unfortunately due to issues in the past with guests I have had to limit facilities available to future guests, but it is something I am looking into again. Hope you enjoyed your extra long weekend.
