All very good...no complaints whatsoever

Our whole visit was exceptional...checked in at 3pm on a Thursday...stayed in their suite which was superb...sat at bar for an hour before dinner and had some chat with the two friendly girls serving...dinner was excellent and retired back to bar b4 bed...a very relaxing stay...Riverbank is a wee hidden gem in the countryside and well worth a visit.

Waiting time on food could be a little quicker. And a little kettle in the room if you like an early cup of tea or coffee I'm not a fan of the coffee machine with the pods. But that's just my preference . Other than that I couldn't fault the place really beautiful And perfect for party or small wedding venue .

Food was gorgeous, although it took a while to come out. Which meant it was cooked to order, so we didn't mind too much . Overall the Riverbank was a lovely homely place with gorgeous food and Lovely staff. We would definitely stay again... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From arrival to leaving the whole experience was fantastic. The staff, particularly Paula was friendly and welcoming. The dinner menu was excellent with attention to quality and presentation. The decor is calming with an old world country charm. The paintings on the walls were from local artists and added their own charm. The rooms were bright and airy. Nice detail, like water, a coffee machine added to the experience. Free Wi-fi was stable throughout the property. The attention to detail was excellent, such as the convenience of socket outlets, rain shower and decent sized wall mounted TV added to the overall experience. The breakfast ( included) was tasty with a homely feel. The selection was very good and presented in a country style fashion. Overall, the Riverbank deserves its consistent excellent reviews. An excellent location that has outdoor seating with facilities for family events. A great location to use as a base to visit local sights. Will be returning and highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse.

There is nothing I didn’t like .

Everyone was absolutely lovely and anything you asked for was sorted asap, the food was excellent and the bar staff and manager were chatty and pleasant making our stay really enjoyable.

Stairs. No accessible rooms available. No problem but booking.com should make this clear perhaps for those who need them. Small point but no shelves or, hooks or storage in bathroom. We would still go back. As lovely restful experience in comfy, welcoming people and place with tasteful and relaxing dining. No rush. Village, poets centre and raglan tearooms. Pitch and putt great selling point and river walks.

Staff exceptional as were evening meals. Unusually good. Outdoor spaces and seating lovely too.

Beautiful country pub with outstanding food. The staff were amazing and super friendly and welcoming. We arrived about 6 on a Sunday and the place is busy.. no tables available.. so you know the food must be good.

Bed only had reading light on one side. However there were switches and wall lights either side of the bed, but the switches were covered with labels saying do not use, possibly the reading light issue is therefore work in progress.

Both breakfast and our meals in the bar were fantastic and the bar area was very nice. Staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to when we left.

Absolutely everything! This was our 3rd visit and it just gets better. The Place is in such a beautiful peaceful location. The food is delicious and reasonable. The Bar, Restaurant & Outdoor areas are gorgeous. We had the suite and it was fabulous and SPOTLESS!! Every member of staff is a credit to the place. Great spot to just park the car and unwind!!!
