We booked on the day got held up with work.The host was very friendly and helpful. Couldnt have a better host so accomodatinf and welcoming and great fun.The room was clean and spacious . Would def recommend

A lovely place and, more importantly, lovely people! We stayed for one night (4 people) before our trip to Kerry. The place is really nice and comfy. Liam (the owner) is sure to set the mood with his stories! Breakfast is of high quality and plentiful (the famous Irish hospitality).

the attic part of the room was quite warm but velux window opened so not so bad no kettle in room - but on the listing it said making facilities - only saw that afterwards (or did we not find it haha)

family room at top of house - two double beds so perfect for what we needed liam friendly good value for two night for two people - didnt have breakfast due to timings (ours not theirs) but was offered mum wants to know what make the mattress in the main part of the room was please driveway quite long so not close to the road thanks also for the early check in due to situation :)

Liam the owner was very entertaining and friendly. The room was comfortable with hot standing shower. We had wifi and about 10 min to food and stores. It was a nice overnight stay with everything we needed. With a hot Ireland breakfast made the stay comfortable and enjoying. We didn't use the pool but it appeared nice however it was not heated, and you have to climb up a ladder to get in it, nice long pool for laps however we were tired and just needed to rest.

There was nothing extra Liam could of done to make our stay any better - it was perfect.

Liam was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and he always did everything he could to make sure our stay was just perfect.

No lift and none was expected but this may be an issue if you have heavy bags.

Big old house with charm. Owner Liam was very welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast tasty and plentiful. Parking was easy and location handy to Fermoy town and local sights.

There was nothing not to like.

The host was so friendly. We really felt like we got to experience real Irish culture just from spending time with him and hearing stories. Food was excellent, and our room had a lovely bay window and seating area.

Liam will keep you in stitches if you let him tell stories. We absolutely loved our time there. The experience is worth the drive out to the country house (Riverside) where he was born.

Cozy family operated B&B. We loved our short stay. The room was clean and surprisingly large. Had place for our suitcases easily. I loved the view from the room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had its own window. We had a very warm welcome. Nice chat and got some recommendation for our trip the next day. The breakfast was also lovely. We were full till the afternoon.

We booked this property on the spur of the moment in order to go to a funeral nearby and the genuine warmth and hospitality extended to us by Jennifer and Liam really did help to ease the pain of the occasion. We had the best night’s sleep in super comfy beds and the breakfast was just excellent.

I liked the quiet country location and that Liam was brought up in the house. He had entertaining stories about the area and provided recommendations on regional attractions. The traditional Irish breakfast was included although you could modify items according to your taste. Laundry service is available.
