Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

My room had 3 beds which were cramped. There was not enough space to move about.

It was very clean and tidy, and nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel like we were still at home. Breakfast was excellent. I am happy to recommend Rockfield Manor B&B to anyone.

The bay window in our bedroom was such a lovely surprise for my husband. We had to practically drag him away from reading in the window when it was time to go find dinner. Breakfast was delicious.

Rockfield Manor Bed and Breakfast offers a truly welcoming and peaceful getaway. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel right at home—she was warm, kind, and incredibly helpful, sharing excellent local tips for dining and exploring the town. The manor is beautifully situated in a picturesque area, perfect for anyone who enjoys walking or running amid nature. Despite its easy access to the highway, the location feels wonderfully quiet, surrounded by serene landscapes and friendly livestock. It felt very safe and relaxing throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The common areas, including charming parlors and a sitting room, provided lovely spots to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. Overall, Rockfield Manor is a fantastic place to stay—combining comfort, hospitality, and beautiful surroundings. We would happily recommend it to friends and would definitely return on our next visit.

Everything was top class
The moment we arrived, Ann was so welcoming and offered us tea, coffee and cake on arrival such a nice touch after a long journey .. Ann was very helpful in every way.. the breakfast was fabulous there was nothing to fault at this B&B we defo would recommend staying here to family and friends. Thanks again Ann for a lovely stay ..

House was immaculate. Good location between Knock and Claremorris. Ann was an excellent host. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She recommended a lovely restaurant for us to have dinner in. Breakfast was delicious. Great variety. Would stay again. Her garden is beautiful.

Only thing is we felt room was cluttered with the extra bed. Would have preferred only the one bed with room to get out either side with ease. Others of course might prefer the second bed. Having said that it was the most amazing comfortable mattress. Very conducive to a great night's sleep.
Spotlessly clean house, warm welcome from Ann. Excellent hostess who got everyone talking. In this time of over reliance on technology this is so important. Great location. Lovely cuppa on arrival. Breakfast was beautiful and served with good humour. Ann has a lovely warm personality and nothing was too much trouble. Healthcare's loss is hospitality gain!! Would seriously recommend this B and B.

Great location for arriving from Knock airport very friendly and accommodating Owner who gave us on arrival coffee/ tea cake & biscuits, the following morning gave an excellent selection for breakfast

There was nothing we didn’t like.
The property was gorgeous. The flowers were simply stunning. The hostess was very accommodating. We had some things go wrong with our arrival and she worked with us to get settled. Breakfast was delicious.
