The host Michael was extremely kind and welcoming, and his helpfulness exceeded our expectations. He also provides a large selection of food and snacks for breakfast. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, and the house itself was very spacious and extensively decorated. There's also a lounge downstairs which is great for reading or surfing the internet.

Michael was very welcoming and friendly and we were made feel at home. Full use of the facilities no issue having a cuppa at any time. Bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate.. Will definitely stay again.

A beautiful home and gardens in a very scenic location that was well situated with easy and close access to the Greenway for walking or cycling and for travelling on to Achill or Westport. Michael greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome and relaxed- he is a very generous host and there was a range of food and refreshments to choose from for breakfast. Our room was perfect- spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable! We were also made feel very welcome to relax in a lovely sitting room/lounge and invited to make tea and have some supper when we returned in the evening. Genuine family home with sincere and kind host that will look after his guests and well suited to anyone travelling be they travelling alone, as couples or small family groups.

Michael was such a host! So friendly and welcoming. The house was extremely clean, so organized and with everything you needed. Breakfast was perfect, with wide variety and you could cook your own irish breakfast if wanted!! 100% recommended, will be back for next time in the area!! Thanks again, Michael!

Everything was on hand, it was very clean and our host was very helpful..There was a huge choice of breakfast. Plenty of space to park cars. It was lovely and quiet and a perfect location to explore. Michael was full of suggested things to do. We are looking forward to returning here again.

That we could only stay one night. We all wish it was longer! Next time :)

I cannot say enough about how great this place is. Michael went above and beyond on every side and in every way.... from being brought cold drinks as we sat chatting about our day outside his beautiful home to being brought extra ingredients to make a proper breakfast for a long day riding bikes on Sunday! Never have I felt so at home in a place in so short a space of time. Amazing. Cannot recommend enough. Some of us who were travelling without spouses will be back for sure to share this place with them. And us bikers will be staying here again next year for our Connaught ride - if he will have us back! Thank you for everything, Michael.

It was an excellent stay - Michael was so lovely and accommodating. The beds were so comfy too, and anything I could have needed was provided. Location wise its half way between Westport and Achill Island.

Not that we didn’t like it but do recognise that this is a good value, no frills B&B and you can find no fault - … well the walls are super thin between rooms so you can hear your neighbours snoring…. But that is only a minor gripe !

Really lovely warm welcome from the owner and he was so helpful all through the stay. Loved the open kitchen and little treats for the kids (small and big …. Loads of chocolate bars to snack on). Lovely selection of food for breakfast on a self serve basis which we liked in fairness. Great location on Road to Achill - super pub 10 minute walk down the road for food and pints (Nevins) Thanks - we’ll be back !
