Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLiked everything. No negatives.
The accommodation is located in the grounds of a house with beautiful mature gardens. The apartment was lovely. Very comfortable and clean. There is an outside patio area with a scenic view. Our hosts were very friendly , helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. I would highly recommend this accommodation and we would love to return for another stay sometime. Enniskerry and surrounding area are well worth a visit. 100% satisfied.

United StatesThe wifi could've been a bit better as it didn't work in the bedroom, but it wasn't a huge deal.
Brendan was very kind, friendly and courteous! He gave us lots of tips about things to do and see in the area.

IrelandThe kitchen is quite small and there is no sizeable table to eat off. Did not effect me because I was alone but couples might find it a limitation if you intend to do a lot of cooking. Everything else is so good I would still recommend this property.
A wonderful peaceful location and an owner who genuinely cared that I had a good rest and had all I needed.

United StatesThe bed was a little hard and the hot water in the shower was a little inconsistent - but vs the positives of the location, these were relatively minor.
The hosts (Brendan & Laura) were exceptionally kind and accommodating. They welcomed us as if we were family friends with a stocked fridge and clean space. Laura even drove us to the wedding venue in town! Highly recommend staying here if you want a more affordable and homey option for the area. Short walk to town and a longer walk or Taxi to Powerscourt. Thank you to Brendan and Laura!

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn't like, we would highly recommend staying here!
Brendan was an excellent host and met us when we arrived, showed us around the accommodation and recommended some lovely places to visit in the area. The property itself was amazing, clean, comfortable and in a great location. The house was also surrounded by an amazing garden with an outside area you could sit in which was really relaxing. We wish we could have stayed a few days longer as there was so much to see around Wicklow. We would recommend visiting Powerscourt Waterfall and Greystones.

United KingdomThe mattress didn’t quite suit us, but this is personal preference of course.
The property is fantastic, it had everything we needed. The location is a 10/10 and Brendan, our host, was incredibly kind and full of recommendations. Brendan went out of his way to hand deliver a bottle of wine and fresh strawberries when he found out we were celebrating my partner’s 50th birthday.

AustraliaWe missed a television to keep up-to-date with the news.
This property is self-catering, but the friendly and hospitable hosts do provide a selection of "goodies" such as chocolates, fruit, cheese, milk etc. to start one's stay. When planning the catering, guests need to be aware that the cooking facilities, benchtops, dining seating are all quite limited. The garden setting in the lovely backyard will suffice to eat when the weather permits. The location is very peaceful and quiet, yet close to the pubs and coffee shops in Enniskerry village, as well as the Powerscourt estate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

IrelandBrendan and Laura are fabulous hosts. They couldn't have done any more for us, they're such lovely people. The location is amazing, secluded but close to Enniskerry village for evening drinks or a lunchtime coffee. It's only about 10 minute of a walk. We attended a wedding in Powerscourt and this location was ideal. I would definitely recommend staying here.

United KingdomWe liked everything but felt it would be good to warn people there is no slip mat for the shower and it is very slippy. I would have brought my own had I known. Also no tv but we quite enjoyed being away from it for a change. Fab local channel on the radio played our kind of music!
In beautiful secluded surroundings, a brilliant base for exploring Wicklow. Brendan was a fabulous host, even offering to pick us up one night from the local pub. Also provided a very thoughtful welcome pack. We loved the soda bread! Also free wifi. We will stay again next time we visit Ireland.

The location was peaceful and beautiful and convenient to Wicklow, Powerscourt and Dublin. Waking up to the mountain views and the gorgeous landscaping made for a restorative lovely stay. Cannot possibly recommend staying here enough!! Whenever back in Ireland will definitely stay here!

United StatesWe have no suggestions - Brendan and his wife have made every effort to make the apartment comfortable, and it shows.
The self-catering apartment was fitted out with enough groceries and kitchen items to allow us to have an abundance of fresh fruit, healthy wheat bread, eggs, milk, butter, jam, coffee, tea and sweets. It was clearly well thought out and perfect for our plans. An abundance of local brochures were available which helped us prioritize our activities. The location was close to the village and beautifully landscaped, with amazing views of the mountains. Brendan was an extraordinary host and when we asked if he knew of a local driver to make our tour through the Wicklow Mountains more enjoyable, he was able to connect us with Robert Kavanaugh within minutes for a custom tour that also far exceeded our expectations!
