Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandNothing...All was great....
Such a lovely well laid out holiday home in west Clare....Everything you need is within, from generous seating area, kitchen with all conveniences, bedrooms and bathroom, spotlessly clean throughout...Parking onside. Phil was most welcoming and helpful.... Would definitely recommend this little gem....

United KingdomNot much. It was a tiny bit more expensive than my budget but it was last minute and late at night and well worth the extra money. The Toilet is very cramped...worth noting if you are handicapped or caring for someone.
The Owners are what makes this place a gem!!! It was 10.30pm a howling gale. We had just been to another property we had booked which was disgustingly unclean and arrived here to the loveliest kindest most welcoming people you could possibly imagine. They had an electric fire on, clean sheets and blankets...and hot water bottles warming the beds up. The little chalet was immaculate and although compact had everything one could wish. We stayed 2 days. My father joined us next day for lunch and really enjoyed relaxing on the sofa while I made dinner. The location is of course incredible. Across the road was the stormy Atlantic, down the road a great pub and shop. Kilkee, Kilrush or Cliffs of Moher easily reached. I would stay again.

IrelandPhil (owner of the property) met us when we arrived. She gave a warm welcome and showed us the property and explained about everything within the property (heating system/kitchen appliances and so on). She was lovely lady, available all time with a smiling face to help us in all ways possible. All in all, its a perfect choice for a family with kids.

GermanyWith the Storm going over us in the night, the Drainage made quite some sounds. But this is not the fault of the nice owners. It's a very cozy MobilHome, and it's not build for vicious storm winds. This said, I am Shure the vibration can be eliminated, which was caused by the backsides horizontal drainage.

IrelandIt’s was advertised as a 3 bedroom but at the time 1 bedroom was unavailable as it was being used for storage. I’m sure it’s ready for the summer months but my main criteria was a bedroom for each of us .3 friends
It is directly across from the sea with a beautiful beach just down the road . We had everything we needed with a wonderful host .

Ireland"Didnt like" like it is a little much to say, but they could have some towels included just because we didn't had any with us.
It was worth the drive because it got dark and we wanted to explore more the Mather Cliffs the next day. Best price in the area and the condition are more than decent. Warm and cozy and the host really nice. Kitchen with everything you need for cooking

United Statesthe water heater wasn't too good, couldn't really take a shower. it was also a bit difficult to sleep at night due to a sound of wind pushing against this strap of sorts on the outside. might want to fix that!
really loved the aesthetic of the mobile home! first time I stayed in a mobile home and it was so cute and charming. I could see myself living in one of these

United KingdomThe host was helpful and wanted the money upfront, the caravan was behind the house so not exactly the sea view we were expecting. All the glasses, crockery and cutlery was dirty so we had to wash them first before using. There was no gas so we couldn't cook breakfast and even after the gas bottle was changed there was no hot water for a shower. Light bulb over the table didn't work which made a meal at the table a gloomy experience.
The host was lovely. The location was right on the beachfront.
