Room was terrible the floor is at a angle you fall out of bed they even had chocks under the the table to keep it even, it’s like being in a Blackpool fun house how on earth it passed building regulations ??? Also room very noisy also bed was terrible it was a old sprung mattress out of a charity shop

Closeness to bus and train station and centre and that’s about it

Could do with a mirror in the room and a shower mat. Also, tea bags. But when we asked, we got tea bags. The stairs are quite steep, maybe mention this on the website for ones that may struggle.

The location. It was clean, staff friendly, and helpful 👌 Great water pressure and shower Unfortunately, because of the building, they are restricted to what they can do. We had everything we needed and also the use of the fridge etc. In kitchen

As mentioned in some other reviews, there's little to no sound insulation in the room so you hear a lot of noise both from outside (the train station) and inside (other rooms, water running, toilet flushing behind a drywall etc.). There's a huge gap under my door. I got quite lucky with not so noisy neighbours so I was still able to get some sleep (having a quiet noise masking sound similar to white noise playing in my room throughout the night helped too) but this might be very different story for you. Ear plugs definitely recommended (if you can sleep with them - I can't). It has one of the tiniest shower walk-ins I've ever seen (I'm quite short and skinny so I fit in just fine but bigger guys might struggle), though the shower itself is good. No mirror in the room so you have to use the shared bathroom for shaving. No elevator and quite a lot of stairs to the top rooms (wasn't really an issue for me as I was travelling light with just a backpack but heard someone panting heavily at night, trying to get their suitcase up). Also, the whole building is kind of skewed so all the floors are literally slopes - I found it quite funky rather than bad really but it's worth mentioning.

Friendly staff and it was clean. Liquid soap and shower gel provided. Kettle with some coffee in the room. The location was super handy too as I was arriving by train and it's literally 3 minute walk from there.

Would have been better with headboard on bed and another pillow each, and maybe a few tea bags in the room when we arrived. The place was extremely clean. There was no clear indication of the address and the website was confused with The Shamrock Bar. I had looked up the location on Google maps but only found the correct address when I booked a taxi online.

Very close to train station and eventually found the best route into town.

We arrived and had no where to park our car. This apartment was not even in the Shamrock Inn. The person that let us in the apartment literally only opened the door for us and then walked out. He did not give us WIFI instruction. We had to call him back to get the code. At that time, he asked us to scan something on his phone to get the WIFI to work. We were not sure this was legitimate so we decided not to scan it. There was some leftover food in the fridge. The shower was a portable camping heater and would go from scalding HOT to cold. We did not feel safe in this apartment.

Stained sheets, very dusty, window clearly hasn't been clesned. felt unsafe as the front door was left open and a group of men sat outside eating and being very loud. Got no sleep as the doors were slamming all hours and there was no curtain on window just a very light blind that didn't keep sun out at all. Very little information was given in how to get and check in and out information. Staff were not very helpful. There was a tea service tray in room but it was missing multiple essentials such as tea bags.

Our room was directly on a road that has locals racing until late and truckdrivers passing early in the morning. And since it is a small room with no airco, we had to open the window. Result is no sleep!

It was noisy all night long. Lots of traffic on the road, which was just below our window. Water heater was very noisy during the night.

The room was clean. The bathroom was modern and clean. Beds were comfortable. It was a short walk to a vibrant and fun area of the city. We felt safe walking around in the evening.
