The bedsheet looked a bit dirty but it smelled clean. The sink is broken. The carpet in the bedroom needs to be replaced. Overall functional but not a good impression.

The property is quite remote with not many amenities close by. Although the apartment was clean, there appears to be a lot of renovation like painting etc. to complete. The balcony rug was filthy and there was laundry drying and cleaning supplies stored there, so the area is very cramped.

The beds were comfortable.

- Both toilets had broken sinks and a broken bathtub - The property is completely rundown - The MCB circuit tripped on its own, and the owner refused to come and sort it out. - The owner pretended to be out of the city, then magically came back the next day and tried to blame us. Nothing except a greeting from the host on what's app about collecting keys from the lock box. Got two videos about how to heat the flat and for hot water.

I didn’t know I had to heat the water myself, so I’m the morning I had to have a cold shower. Not that big a deal for me tho.

2 good sized bedroom & a main bathroom. The bed we stay on was very comfortable & clean. Apartment was equipped with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Good natural lighting, as there are floor to ceiling windows. Bus stop shops & shopping centre’s very close by too. Parking & access to the property was very easy. Key collecting was simple too.

This was a Flat, in a block of flats, at a VERY VERY busy X roads, it was noisy and parking was a nightmare, having to find a space on a very busy street, a bit of a lottery, really. Why it is called skyview retreat, i have absolutely NO idea, we looked on to another block of flats opposite in one direction and a very busy commercial road on another view. It is NOT a retreat, a retreat to me, is somewhere quite and peaceful. THIS WAS NOT, at all. The photos on the website are NOT all genuine photos of this location, at all. The bath panel was broken and in a dangerous condition, could easily had cut someone. The hot water was a night mare as well. no instructions for it or heating or internet etc. had to contact the owner numerous times and could Not make out much, due to his foreign accent. Bedrooms could do with bed side tables and lamps, in each. A coffee table in the lounge would be useful. Side plates for food, would have been nice. Decoration was very bland and plain.

The lift was handy, as we had two pensioners in their 80's, as we had to go up to the 2nd floor.

It was really filthy. Our shoes stuck to the floor (we have videos and photos) there was no hand soap (except for one used Dove bar soap from a previous guest). There were used towels from previous guests hanging on the bedroom door. Very hard to get any hot water going either in the evening or the morning. The sponge to wash the dishes was old (not opened for us). There was dirty laundry in the washing machine. The beds were very uncomfortable. I honestly have to question many of the reviews left for this property as to whether they are true or not. Perhaps if you’re on a stag in Lucan, this property would be grand but it was really awful for our family with a baby on the dirty floor (His onsie was fresh and yellow and now it’s black and fit for the bin.) I will post photos if I can. Every single piece of junk left by previous guests is still in the property, half used this and that. There were 2 butters and a half drank bottle of wine in the fridge. Dirt in the utensil drawers etc. communication was ok but the pin he dropped to find the place left us about a kilometre away from the property. The voice notes were extremely difficult to understand and the key was left out for us under a piece of kerbing which made me feel it was unsafe. A lock box is recommended. A lack of cups/ cutlery etc. Inside of microwave dirty as well as switches etc. we couldn’t wait to get home and shower.

I like to book apartments for my family instead of hotels as we just enjoy our own comfort. I must say the host went above and beyond for us, the apartment had absolutely everything you could need and more. it's clean, smoke free and also in a beautiful area. anytime now I'm travelling to the south with my family this will be the apartment I book from now on.

Great apartment in Dublin. Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described and shown in the photos. The spacious living room, balcony, and nice view create a homely, welcoming atmosphere. The apartment has everything needed — appliances, kitchenware, and fast Wi-Fi. Parking is available right next to the building, which is a big plus for those traveling by car. The area is quiet, with shops and everything you might need nearby. Excellent value for money. Suitable for both short and long stays. Highly recommend.

Everything was spot on.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean and warm. Tea coffee is already in the apartment. It's not far from the airport Tesco's not that far away

Great stay!!! I wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful stay at your apartment. Your friendliness and flexibility made the experience delightful. The apartment's location is perfect, and having access to all necessary amenities, including washing liquids and coffee, was a huge convenience. The views from the living room were breathtaking, both in the morning and evening. I am thoroughly satisfied and look forward to staying again on my next visit to Dublin. Thank you once again.

Place was not well taken care of and not well equipped. Living room had a sofa but no table, and no chairs. Only one stool at the otherwise nice bar. Carpets stained, unfinished paint and masking tape, somebody else‘s laundry in the bathroom. The biggest turnoff for me was the strong perfumed smell from incense sticks and incense plugs in the bedrooms and a rather grotty smell in the living room. If you like the kind of artificial incense smell, you‘ll be fine but I couldn’t sleep in that.

Great location near Lucan center, spacious two bedroom and living room with a nice balcony. Was a good place for work.
