Bathroom shower room could do with with an overhaul, only one toilet and shower, it wasn't that busy thankfully so was fine, showers cold!

Setting is absolutely stunning, beside a stream, grounds really well kept,

Same as others have said, the shower and sink have no hot water feed and there is nowhere to wash pots etc when you've cooked. We were the only people there for our stay, but if there are more people I imagine only 1 toilet and 1 shower can be an issue

This has to be the most beautiful campsite/location we have ever been to. The grounds are lovelyl and pristine, the pitches are really well set out. We went for the pitch right at the end. It was perfect for watching the birds flying around and I even spotted a kingfisher the first evening. The camping trolleys are great and came in very handy!

During the day the toilet light didn’t work. Only thing I can fault.

Our stay at this campsite was amazing. There was all the facilities you’d need. Bathroom indoors with shower. Camping trolleys to bring your stuff to the campsite. You’d could hire tents, beds, firewood etc. there was bikes there if you wanted a cycle. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Great place for families or even couples.

Beautiful location for a weekend escape!

There is only one toilet and the shower is in the same room so it's not ideal but didn't bother us too much. There are no other facilities on the grounds but we knew this in advance and had our camping equipment ready. We would camp there again!

The St Mullins campsite is set in a beautiful location. Ideal for families. We brought our two dogs along and they had a fantastic time too! It is great value for money and we had a lovely weekend camping there. There is no one there to greet you when your arrive or check in on how you are getting on but we didn't see that as a negative really as we were left in peace.

It had only 1 toilet and cold shower.

The campsite was clean and, while small, there was enough room for our 8man tent. You were able to light campfires and there was a beautiful little stream running through it. It was also really close to the river.

There is no sink to wash dishes, the only available water supply is in the toilet. There is no curfew, which I understand is difficult to enforce, given it's fairly hands-off from a management perspective, but a group beside us stayed up until 5 am. When you're in a tent you hear everything.

The site is beautiful with streams surrounding the pitches, a medieval well and a quaint cut-stone cottage at the entrance. St. Mullin's is a real hidden gem, we enjoyed spending time on the river with our SUP, Mullachain cafe and the local pub at the top of the hill. The setting is magical.

Nice campsite in lovely village - but poor facilities

I had read the reviews beforehand, so I knew it was a 'bring your own tent' campsite, but this is left unclear at the moment of booking. At the campsite, we could not find a place to clean dishes, other than the sink next to the toilet. There is only one toilet for the whole campsite, which room also has the only shower in it.

The location is beautiful: a small pitch surrounded by trees and hills, a stream running by. The town itself is also gorgeous, with a pub, a nice coffee house by the river and a monastic site to visit. The location is actually so nice, that I would come again for a night. Cars cannot enter the actual campsite, but are left on a parking lot across the street. This means you have to carry your stuff a bit further (carts are provided to help you out), but it also means the campsite itself looks better, without big vehicles and tents only.

We didn't know there won't be a person to welcome us so we were a bit confused to just take our tent and make ourselves comfortable on site. A LOT of HUGE spiders and spiderweb in toilet and shower room. I know...its a camping but room should be cleaned at least once a month. I've found it very very challenging to use the facilties with that amount of spiders that size in there. No warm water at all so it's difficult to take a shower. However...please clean the spiders! They are horrible!!!

Location was great. Very neat and tidy place. Beautiful plants and freshly cut grass. Stunning view of the river. Car park on the other side of the road, plenty of space there. Toilet and shower on site. Great place for dogs. Tables for breakfast and space for fire on site. Plenty of space for any type of a tent.
