My room was quite warm and I didn't like when the housekeepers opened the door outside one day when I was in the city. (my guess is that they were trying to cool the room down). I was in room 401.

The location next to the green was wonderful. The backyard is fantastic! A wonderful place to relax, read, and be peaceful amidst the city. And the hard to get to public park in the way back was just the cherry on top. I also liked the little drink center and comfy reading room...was less a bar scene than just a nice relaxing room. I also liked the small touches of having a cold water fountain, apples on the sideboards, and some info on Dublin. The room was comfortable.

The cosy double room is nice but to small if you're two people with larger suitecases. Book a room to the garden site as the street site's quite noisy. But there's a great view over the park. The carpets could do with a change. The shower is very narrow.

Comtfortable and clean. Staff was very welcoming and breakfast is very nice. Liked the option to order drinks and bring to the hotels garden, great way to relax after walking round Dublin a whole day.

It was beautiful, room was so charming, very clean with gorgeous shower and products. There is a stunning garden area too where you can sit out and enjoy the nature. The receptionist was fantastic, couldn’t be more helpful, she is exceptional actually compared to most in the same role in other hotels, she really made the stay even more magical.

Our room was in the basement level and the stairway going down there had a funny smell but this didn't affect our room at all. The park behind the hotel had outdoor concerts both nights we were there and it was pretty loud until like 10:30pm or 11pm. I can't remember which time.

Really lovely hotel and the family room we stayed in was perfect for our family of four. Comfortable beds and lovely facilities. Great location!

The room on the street was a bit loud. We were hot and felt we had to open the window. We didn’t discover the fan until after we were packing up to leave.

Loved the property. Everything was impeccably clean, hospitality was incredible, and we loved the charm.

Stanton’s on the Green is a perfect location. We walked everywhere. Everything was clean and fresh. I am usually not a fan of fancy, Georgian style settings, but I loved the room, bedding, beds, view of the green garden and everything! We actually cancelled our next booking and rebooked another night here.

Weather was quite warm when we were there. As it’s a charming Georgian townhouse, there is no AC. We were able to use the two fans provided in the room and open windows. Heat isn’t likely to be a common problem other than occasionally in summer.

We travelled for 3 weeks around Europe and this was one of the best stays on trip. Amazing location in center of town but off park so very quiet and tranquil. Walking to everything without being in a loud noisy area of downtown. You are 5 min walk through park to downtown! Building was beautifully designed, very historic feeling, upgraded amenities, and the room itself was expansive, super clean, stylish, and tranquil overlooking the back garden. Could not have been better. Felt very pampered. The front desk staff were wonderful. Very friendly, available and helpful. Highly recommend this place and wished we had booked more nights!

    No a/c

Beautiful historic hotel in a great location across the street from St. Stephen’s Green. We had a junior suite and it was gorgeous! Very spacious and nice bedding. The only negative was there wasn’t air conditioning. It was July and warm for Dublin. They gave us an extra fan(2) which helped. The windows only open slightly or I feel like we would’ve been fine without the a/c. We did have brunch, which was extra for us, and it could’ve been more for the cost- Simple cheese omelet with continental breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. The private garden was lovely.
