these are the things we found when we arrived at our accommodation. A bucket of cleaning material in the hall way, a folded towel on the stairs. In the kitchen there was a bottle of cleaning fluids on the surface, the dishwasher was full but not clean. There was no dishwasher salt and the dishwasher salt warning light was on. The dishwasher was loaded but not washed - which led to finding no cups and two calls to our host who was in California !! Two of the bedrooms needed their floor cleaned. The toilet seat was broken which was fixed on Monday. There was a clump of hair in the ensuite. It did not seem as clean as it could have been. The impression we had was that the last guest left the accommodation in a reasonable clean state but it had not been cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. I trust this is helpful ?. I do want to say the accommodation has been comfortable and is well equipped and we were happy to be here. Thank you for sorting it for us.

Missing a few towel hooks on doors. And shelves in shower for your stuff while showering. Could do with a better clean.

The house was in a great location as we were attending a family wedding in Redcastle. We enjoyed the space 6 adults 2 kids and our small dog. Local beach 20 mins walk, village has shop,pub, restaurant, chip van, pizza. Great base for sightseeing.

The room at the top of the stairs to the left with the double bed people in that bed didn't find the mattress very comfortable and the lock in the main bathroom upstairs want working

Nothing really, garden could do with a little tidy but given there was a massive storm just weeks before it’s to be expected.

Personal preference, but I would prefer blackout blinds/curtain in master bedroom. With street light outside it was hard to sleep.

Culdaff is a beautiful location with friendly locals and a great base to explore Donegal. Darren was a great host and the house suited our needs as a family of five. The house is in a very quiet estate with considerate neighbours. Very close to the most amazing beach. Highly recommend the pizza shop across the road for food.

The toilet seat was broken in the downstairs loo and the cold water tap didn’t work here either. Generally there appeared to be plumbing issues with very poor water pressure in both showers and the hot water tap not functioning at all in the en-suite and the toilet took forever to refill here too. When the heating was on the heaters upstairs, particularly in the en-suite bathroom were very noisy with a lot of air in the system. I would also suggest an upgrade of some of the pans, particularly the frying pans.

Great location, property was clean and nice layout downstairs. Walking distance to several bars and restaurant.
