Check in machine at hotel was a bit slow and complicated. Although I knew the room would be fairly small it was quite tight to manoeuvre round. No lift for heavier bags.

Central location in street with good pubs and restaurants. Clean & modern rooms. Friendly staff. Great for road trip visiting Wild Atlantic Way.

Great location. It was very clean. Our room was fronted to The Square. It was quiet at night generally. Room was really clean and lovely shower. Heating system was reliable and easy to use. Alexandra and the other staff we met were all very friendly. You have to bring ID with you to check in.

It was a modern, clean, and very comfortable room, very conveniently located in the middle of Clifden. Street parking is available, but may be a challenge during busier times of day - I arrived in the evening and had no trouble finding a free spot though. There is no staff on site, but the check-in process was very clear, quick, and straight forward on a digital check-in kiosk. Everything was great! I would stay here again or recommend it, especially for solo travellers, or for people who are busy outdoors all day long.

No breakfast facilities and no fridge in the room to keep my own food and drink. There were no staff on site which made me feel slightly vulnerable when returning to the hotel late at night.

The room is incredibly small n the bathroom tiny. Actually, the smallness sink I've ever seen, except for on a plane.. if you hand a number of bags, which we didn't thankfully, good luck with trying to fund space to put them. No TV????? There really should be. Light over the mirror/ desk wasn't working. The bath towels should be bigger.

We loved the location of the hotel. Also, the cleanliness and easiness of checking in and out. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Rooms were very noisy. You can hear people in next room turning on lights, using the toilet etc. Went quiet quite early though apart from snoring next door. Check in very impersonal. And of course NO TV in rooms.

I would like to have had more info on parking prior to arrival. There was no one there to help and we had trouble getting hold of the remote working staff person. I was finally helped by a shop owner nearby. Also, we were there on a night of record heat and there was no way to control the temperature in the room. (No AC which is typical but very hot weather which is not!). The window only opened a very small crack. This was my first experience in a hotel with no staff so it was a little stressful figuring it all out; maybe if I was younger? Staff responded very quickly when I sent her an email asking about parking and the heat. Despite no one there, you get a quick response if your phone plan works in Ireland or via email.

Great location - right downtown and very close to good pubs and excellent restaurants. Once I figured out parking (hard to do with no staff at the hotel) and the check in process, it was fine. The room was very small but very nice with a small, modern, clean bathroom. Now that I've figured the place out, I'd certainly stay here again if I ever come back to Clifden.

This hotel is exactly how it is listed. The hotel is in the centre of the town, with parking outside the door. During the week the parking is free from 6pm to 11.30am. Even in the height of summer we managed to get parking easily. The check in was easy via the machine in the lobby, with the instructions having been provided the day prior. The room was on the first floor, was plenty big enough, very comfortable bed and bedding and very clean bathroom. There was a kettle with tea and coffee provided. Close-by are numerous restaurants and bars for food as well as a centrally located SuperValu.
