Staying here was like staying in a country estate. The room was so nice & the staff were friendly. The grounds were very pretty. There board horses that you can visit. They encourage you to walk around the property.

The only downside is there’s no bar / restaurant on site. It’s not that type of accommodation but perhaps something like an honesty bar would be a good idea. It doesn’t take from the accom though and would 100% stay again.

Gorgeous place in a lovely location.. the decor is just perfect and is so tastefully done. The grounds feel very Black Beauty. Highly recommend.

Every last thing was perfect! What a lovely setting, very historic but the rooms were completely updated. The staff is wonderful. Terrific made to order breakfast in a lovely horse farm setting. It was first rate!

I was only staying a single night but there wasn't a wardrobe in the room and the space for hanging clothes was limited, even though there was an alcove that could have been used.

The Courtyard adjoins an old Irish country house with a fabulous entrance way, mature landscaping and great views over Rathcormac and locality. Beside the car park there's a paddock where you see horses grazing whilst admiring the panoramic view. It's impressive before you walk through the door of the repurposed staff quarters and kitchens. The spaces/bedroom are finished to a high standard. The communal lounge area is at he top of the building, it has a vaulted ceiling and circular windows with a cross-hair design that allow you spy on the surrounding country side. Aileen, the manager, was very helpful, giving me recommendations on local places to eat as well as filling me in about the history of the building and surrounding area.

Some noise travel from neighbouring bathrooms above. All fine once guests settled for the night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard, Kilshannig. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. I highly recommend to other travellers.

The weather was exceptionally hot - heatwave . It was difficult to sleep as there was no air conditioning. Breakfast was slow - got up for an early breakfast but was waiting a long time .

Outstanding in every way. The staff is very helpful. Authentic full Irish breakfast. The rooms are modern and spotless despite staying in a Georgian estate. The stud is an added bonus. You have the run of the grounds with current and future race champions and their offspring. What a gem!
