Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandI felt the room needed a bit of a deep clean. Dust and buildup in the desk area. The bathroom looked lovely but on closer inspection the shower was not great. The tiles showed signs of limescale buildup or mildew... Not a deal breaker but I think given how this hotel positions itself I would expect it to be immaculate. We had a bunk bed room which had all the sweets laid out for the kids but find the mini bar prices first because everything is charged for!
Staff were friendly and very apologetic about a room mix up. They were very helpful when we arrived early and we could store our bags after check out. The location is great. We had breakfast, which was lovely but so expensive! The kids loved the bunk beds.

United KingdomOur room faced nightclubs on the street and it was so loud till 3am, there was earplugs next to the bed so it’s a known issue and we would have never booked those rooms had we known, we’ve come home really tired.

United KingdomNice hotel, beautiful and spacious room. Everything was good, not much to add. The street the hotel is on is busy with lots of bars and clubs, but as I was visiting during the work week, it wasn't noisy at all. Nice, easy walking distance to the city centre. Really really good gym in the basement of the hotel (including sauna and a small pool), which guests are allowed to use for free.

IrelandSome of the staff (not all) were very arrogant and/grumpy which is a huge pity and totally unnecessary. Pity, especially as they try to sell the ‘Dublin touch’.
Great location, lovely hotel, great decor. Loved the pool, the rooftop bar. All very stylish. It’s our second time there.

United KingdomThe door into the bathroom was broken (had came off the runner) and even when fixed, didn't close properly and just rolled open again. No lock on bathroom door. Whilst balcony was a nice addition, it was beside and overlooked a building site. No mugs were provided for tea/coffee, just two paper cups holding the teabags and sachets that we had to empty and clean before use. The cups didn't fit properly in the espresso machine. Proper mugs and cutlery would have been much nicer and more sustainable than disposable cups and spoons.. We didn't get to experience the rooftop restaurant as it was fully booked..
Staff were very helpful Room décor was lovely Balcony was a nice addition Beautiful big bed and was very comfortable Drinking water (in tetrapacs) and toiletries provided (including hair conditioner) Heated radiator for towels. Facecloths also provided. Late check-out of 12 noon as standard

IrelandThe noise level in the bedroom was unbelieveably loud even when I used the earplugs supplied, I got out of bed to check was the window closed, it was. I had read the reviews and was aware of the noise from outside however I hadn't realised it was next door to a nightclub/late bar with outdoor beer garden area.
Staff were excellent especially reception who were chatty and interested in getting to know us and purpose of our visit. Location near Stephens Green is excellent, the bar is fab. The hotel is modern and welcoming, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable

IrelandVery rude staff members. Unsure if they were incompetent or just extremely rigid. But their manner was very unpleasant. The person who checked us in and checked us out was lovely however a this was a relief. Our issue was with the staff member we spoke to over the phone re our booking, and one, perhaps the same person who was checking out someone else at the same time that we were checking out and it was so hard not to overhear and to ignore how horrible she was to this guest.
It’s beautiful, contemporary and cosy.

IrelandI was disgusted at the price of the hotel and to not include breakfast in that price is outrageous, €520 for one night!!! Its very unfair to up the prices of rooms just because of a few concerts!!! Most people I know would go for weekend breaks in ireland if the prices were reasonable. Your hotel is fabulous but not to include breakfast at those prices , is just pure greedy. I won't be staying in it again and won't be recommending it for those reasons.
