The Feathers is such a beautiful tranquil spot, perfect place to relax and unwind. Waking up to the ducks and chickens is so lovely, then sitting by fire in the evening with cows and sheep in next field is just perfect😊can't wait to go back.

Blissful, cozy, relaxing accommodation and surroundings - with barbecue, chimenea, fab views and very cute ducks and hens. Everything you need is there ready to use, very friendly, helpful hosts.

If you are looking for peace, Nearly off the grid and nature, this is the place for you. it is close to charming villages but not too close. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. fields of sheep, few ducks and chicken, a dog, surrounded in a Fairy decor. Great place.

If you are looking for luuxury, busy night party, then please look somewhere else as this place is too good for you.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful and inviting. The cabin is cozy and fully equipped for a comfortable experience. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, even surprising my wife with a birthday cake. Highly recommend!

The most perfect little hut with the most lovely host. A hidden gem that was perfect to hide away. Myself, my partner and our two year old daughter stayed here. Caroline was just just amazing from showing our daughter how to feed the hens and ducks to collecting eggs and cuddles! and of course their dog Roco coming for a visit just made my daughters stay so special ! Caroline had really thought of everything, the polytunnel play area for a rainy day with games and a sandpit as well as a chillout area on top of all the extras in the private garden, also having absolutely everything in the hut ! We didn't have to bring anything other than a little food shop ! We will defiantly be back to enjoy another stay.

    Loved every minute !

We had a lovely stay at The Feathers. It was exactly what we were looking for, a tranquil little hideaway. Although it is quite small, it was well equipped with everything we needed and the bbq is well sheltered so can be used in all weather's! If you're looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle this little gem is exactly what you need. The host left us fresh eggs laid by the hens and a birthday card for my son which was a lovely touch.

Driving from Belfast and with our newborn we were looking for a location where if the child cracked up that he didnt didnt disturb others... this wasnt the place -- he enjoyed seeing the chickens and the wee dog. We enjoyed the tranquility and the bed was comfy and had everything we needed. Its a 10/10 for me.... Closs to mountbellow for parkrun..... book direct with caroline anyone reading this.
