Fantastic location on Quay Street

Shower cubicle was a little small but that’s probably because we’re used to a wetroom with more space

Staff were pleasant and the room was clean, but our stay was let down by its location. We stayed in a room at the back of the property, directly above the kitchen, and unfortunately the experience was very poor. From around 6:30–7:00am each morning, we were woken by loud noise from breakfast preparations below, which made it impossible to get proper rest. In addition, the room had a persistent unpleasant smell, most likely coming from an external vent nearby, which made the space uncomfortable to spend time in. Perhaps other rooms in the hotel are better located, but for the price we paid this was extremely disappointing. Future guests would be wise to confirm that their room is not positioned above or near the kitchen before booking.

Brilliant location and really nice restaurant/cafe. The room was very spacious with modern amenities.

Room was spacious and comfortable.

Access to room was up a flight of stone stairs, like an emergency exit. This faced on to a busy main road which was very noisy, especially in the morning.
