How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It wasn’t important to us in the end but I wasn’t aware there were no facilities. It’s more like serviced apartments But I’d definitely go again

One of our rooms didn’t have soap in the bathroom , neither the bath or sink .
Beautifully decorated, outlet close to the bathroom mirror, king bed. Its cleanliness and newness was wonderful.

The building was a bit hard to find. Perhaps a bigger sign may have helped.
Central location. The staff were very helpful. A young man carried our cases up to our room on the first floor which was fantastic. We were able to park for free just nearby the accomodation and then outside the front door.

We had a room with a courtyard which was very nice but our door to the courtyard wouldn’t lock and we noticed everyone had a key to the courtyard so we felt a little unsafe
It was such a cute room and comfortable beds and so close to town

Spacious, clean room in the perfect location! Very comfortable bed and nice, spacious shower with great water pressure. We enjoyed the patio! Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Road noise could be disruptive to some.
Great location and a very clean and recently updated property. Mini fridge is a good addition. Communication with the staff was quick and helpful.

It was pretty warm in our room. No fan and second floor was quite a bit hotter than downstairs. Windows don’t open much. Just put a fan in and i think that would help

The walls were either fairly thin or the neighbors just very loud but we had quite loud noise until 2-3am two of our three nights there. Not the hosts fault at all but something to consider if you’re also staying with young children, babies and/or have early mornings.
Loved the location, comfort of the bed and room, and general style of the place. Also the ease of entry after hours was very convenient and I appreciated having a ground level unit traveling solo with two kids/baby.

The only thing that gave us trouble was the key to the room but we figured it out, and there were many stairs up to our room but we made it up with our luggage.
The location was perfect, just a 2 min walk from the main road. The room was exceptional. They had a cold bottle of water in the fridge which was so refreshing after a long day of travel and sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and the place was cool enough without air conditioning. They did provide a fan which we used. We would definitely stay here again. Thank for a wonderful stay away from home.

It would be helpful to put a sign on the main street entrance to tell arrivers to phone to check in
The rooms were spacious, modern and spotless. The beds were comfortable and linens high quality. There was a kettle, coffee maker and fridge. Most hotels in Ireland don't offer a fridge. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of town. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Parking was a bit tricky, had to drive around a bit to find a place.
Lovely, clean and newly renovated. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and great shower and bathroom. Also appreciated the complementary water and especially the milk left in the fridge so we could make tea and coffee!
